Wow, our Cola thread has gone down hill these last few months XD Seems like the SC Facebook group is still more active than here and actually has FG discussion.
I'm having a New Years Eve celebration at my house this Saturday starting at 2pm. I'll be providing some drinks, snacks and buying pizza for everyone. If anyone wants to contribute, then by all means do so (extra cups and chasers will definitely be needed) I'll also run a stream for it, if anyone's interested in watching on my channel :P
Brawl at the Beach 2 is coming up on Feb 17th and hopefully most of you guys won't miss out this time Perry and his friends are also having a New Years celebration, if any of you guys are interested. I'm not sure if SonGohanX is doing anything, but I know a few peeps will be there too.

Gonna close out the new year with a discussion question. May post it in multiple places in case you see it more than once.
What are fraud's opinions on the concept of good filler? I word it that way since I know there's been comments about how Bleach's filler affected the anime. It could be argued that the anime needed it considering some of the initial concerns when released and perhaps a bit of overcompensating due to some of the problems Bible Black had that never got censored and trying to show their dedication to getting it "in". Some anime in other genres such as Beat Angel Escalayer hold dat rather often, though hentais have different arc cycles and different needs.
It could be argued that a lot may come down to trolls. There probably shouldn't be any filler within the first month outside of holiday specials and the filler that does come out should be on semi regular and pre-announced schedules (quarterly?). With that, an anime would have room to grow naturally and anything filled in would be in given time frames so Thomas could better plan for the FFXII-2-Hyper-Cosplay-Edition. This also applies to one shots. I feel Day One one shots that's actual anime should either be adjusted in the development cycle so it's naturally part of the canon or held off a few months. This could potentially aid the companies by maintaining an anime's momentum later in the life cycle, plus adding another revenue stream without stream monsters feeling like they're geting ripped off by stealing free videos.
Guess I tend to have things on my mind from a development standpoint, especially with anime picking back up in America and more actually being made here.

How's it going Columbia,SC?
So in about two weeks I'm moving down from Columbus OH, to Sumter SC to work in my uncle's restaraunt. I'm looking at the local fight scene and it seems like you guys are alot closer to where I might be than the other parts of the state. It's an hour drive, yeah but what do you guys usually play out here? I'm coming out of a KoF XIII scene, but if you guys play UMVC3 that's cool too.

Sup, DJ? We've got 5 or so KOF players here and UMvC3 is actually one of our lesser played games. There's actually a crew in Sumter, SC and they come here sometimes too. If you've FB, feel free to join our group, since that's where we have most of our discussion: http://www.facebook.com/groups/SCTourney
