When on the jp psn store click the 4th thing down that says ps3, then click on the controller with a plus next to it. Then find the extreme vs icon.

And the jp dlc works with the asian copy.

Its pretty fun, and has a LOT of ms to choose from, with a ton more on the way in updates.

People in the US play this online(Not many but enough). Usually you can find a USA room in the afternoon till late at night. I've actually seen more people online recently. A chat room is always up too.

Is there an english site where they talk about gumdam DLC updates? I heard there were a few new gundams that recently came out. Still looking for a EXVS video directory as well

Extreme VS now has a "PS3 The Best" version, meaning you don't have to spend a bajillion dollars to import it. It's $50.90 at Play-Asia before shipping. Just putting that out there.

Also, Xi Gundam and Gundam GP03S are available as DLC.

Ok, this may actually be affordable since Play-Asia lists it with free shipping. There's an "Asian" version and a "Japanese" version. The Asian version is slightly cheaper but I don't know how I'd get the DLC if I bought that region's version. Also, don't you need, like, 2 PS3s, 2 copies of the game, and a network switch to set up a proper vs match of this?

A TW/HK PSN account is required for DLC in the Asian version, and a JP account is needed for DLC in the Japanese version.

For online, it's 1 player per console, and offline, it only supports 2 players. It's kind of a hassle/deal-breaker, but hopefully Full Boost will have LAN support whenever it's ported.

yea i just picked this game up to. is there a way to do lan with it? they had a 4player set-up with 4 ps3's playing together but we werent online.

I've seen them play it on streams in SoCal and NorCal. I don't think they were using 4 PS3s. I thought they had 2 people on one console vs 2 people on another.

yea at sakuracon in seattle they had a 4 separate computer monitor set-up.

There's no LAN, the SAkura Con setup was all done through the internet same with the setup at Gamecenter.

Last I checked, both regions DLC work with both discs. Like, JP DLC will work with Asia region game.

Full Boost really should include LAN, although LAN is virtually dead among modern games.

Man the search function on these new forums is not great.  It took me some time to find this thread again. At some point I'm supposed to be receiving this game from Play-Asia. I picked free shipping so it's taking forever. Are there people online for this in the US?

Arcade release requires connection to Namco servers, which is why a lot of arcades cannot get it.
