When byrdo and I were conversing on how to construct it, I originally had a button on the gun because of the way the image was, then byrdo, being the master of stick fabrication, came up with the idea to mirror the image to put the stick on the barrel and to fully show the artwork, byrdo is the man.

Those are my two babies. I have a bunch more laying around but nothing that is pretty enough to put pictures up of. Stick collecting / building is mad fun, I figure most here have at least 2 to 3 extra sticks that hardly even see play time like me haha

Is it a panel alone of part of a bigger project? You still can make another top panel for two players. :D

thanks B15 gave me the idea for a ply case. It will look better once its stained. I think I'm going for a white wash so you can see the gains well and then a nice gloss

Missing 1 from these pics, borrowed it to a friend but of course it's 6 button too. I genuinely play better with 6 buttons, I often accidentally place my hand wrongly on TE sticks.

I loved that Sir Arthur themed stick! So cool when the art blends with the case paint like those stripes. :D

i got a couple to add to the 6 button lover thread.

The first one is a Nitewalker case and the other is just a revampment of my old Halibel stick, same art, just put a plexi on it and switched from clear KNs to Blue KNs.

that's a gloss finish, i'm not really good at painting, screwed it up, Nitewalker gave me some pointers on how to fix it :)

6 buttons is the most similar to the arcade. i also hate the 7th and 8th buttons because i end up hitting them once in a while by mistake and screwing up my execution.

here's a stick i thought i'd just throw up to keep the thread alive. It's my co-worker's, he had me mod it for him, it's got an LS-40-01 and regular sanwa buttons. Pay no attention to the bottom left corner...tee hee..

Got this stick from a buddy who no longer wanted it. His kid had beaten up on it a bit, but the shell was still in great shape with only a couple of scratches. Magic Erasered the shit out of it and put some new parts in it. Sanwa JLF and OSBN-30's. I'm going to Dremel 2 24mm buttons for home/guide and Select. And a small Radio Shack Button for Turbo (For console switching). This will house a Paewang PCB. The Agetec has always been one of my favorite joysticks and I cannot wait to play on this one.

Looking to buy some replacement Top panel screws as mine are a bit Rusty. Let me know if you have some extra.

Re-worked the wiring, put in a MC Cthulhu and (not in Picture) 24 mm Seimtsu push buttons
It is now a PS3/PC and Game Cube Stick instead of a Dreamcast Stick



My Tri-modded Agetec



Dual-modded Hori VX, with Seimtsu Smoke buttons and the Joystick is modded with a 2nd spring and JWL microswitches

The wiring's perfectly good and neat, it's just not wired to show off. "Wire porn" is cool and all, but not worth the effort for me...

I build this just for fun, never really though to keep it for myself... but, after several reunions with some friends and a lot of fights on AE, I found it actually works pretty damn well!

And you can't complaint, it looks great!!!



The only thing that I changed was the PCB, now it holds a PS360, instead of the padhack for 360.



So, yeah, I really like the 6-buttons sticks!

Hi i have a question regarding this stick you build. Is this a SE stick? if it is could you kindly tell me how you're able to block off the holes without any dents I can' thnk of any ways i to apply my art(lami-label) without making any awkward hole marks.

That is an se stick. I don't have any one that laminate labels near me. So imprinted on a normal paper printed then had it laminated. Then I just cut it out and put it on the stick. The paper and laminate are thick so they don't dent

ohh didn't think laminating it first. did you glue the art onto the metal plate tho?

yes, i used adhesive spray...the kind that isn't permanent.
