UMvC3 is out today, so it's only right that there be a new thread that deals with the new sodium creating characters and tactics that accompany the release.

Wonder which of the new characters is going to generate the most salt online. I'd bet on RR, but who knows, vergil might be more rage inducing than sentinel in the end.

this game is goofy i am not sure if i'm gonna stick with it, it is fun no doubt but it seems too random and fast paced for people to be able to react to stuff, maybe i will move on to kof13 instead shrug

Nemesis is so sick. Hes the best of the big dues, for sure.

Me and my friend were playing and my other friend joined the party. Then he started raging at my friends team of Nemesis/ Iron Fist/Wesker. Tiger Knee'd Rocket lauchers(for like, 200K damage....), jumping Tentacles, and Iron Fist assist all day. Dark Wesker in case things don't work out. Shits hillarious.

Unless they change it to be different from how it is now, I don't think the volume of ragemail is going to be nearly as much as it was in MvC3. People's names aren't added to the "recently gamed with" list after playing ranked right now. Which means you really have to piss someone off badly to get them to actually remember your name and manually type it in for the ragemail.

I've still gotten some ragemail/messages with my (pretty shitty tbh) play, but the volume is a lot less than it was week 1 vanilla.

edit: Above is referring to XBL. PS3 might be different.

They can still message you if they really want to when you get the results page, though most people skip it by habit. I think players in lobbies do get recorded on XBL though, I have a few on my "recently played" list when I went spectating a few times. No ranked players as far as I know, and I haven't done player match either, so I'm guessing it was the lobbies.

As for messages, I'm still having trouble winning, so no mail for me. :(

Lobbies on XBL definitely show up on the recently played list. It's only ranked that's suspiciously absent.

I've gotten two RQs so far...
One from a guy who I was in the process of bodying when he pulled the plug. I sent, "Bitch move" and he responded with: "yes what u did was now ur block."

The second one was from an annoying Felicia/RR/Hawkeye player. We played a few games before he locked me down in the corner with Felicia and beat me. The next match, I snapped in his Felicia, killed her and he instantly quit.
