I got this gem after I successfully zoned his Spencer and Morrigan with Frank's pies and OJ. He also didn't seem to realize that you can't block while dashing anymore since I just punished every single full screen dash his Morrigan did.

I beat a Vergil/Dante/Phoenix with Strange/Deadpool/Dormammu this weekend, he killed Strange rather quickly, 'pool didn't put up much of a fight either - Dormammu comes in and levels vergil and dante, time for dark phoenix and the fool doesn't block during the transformation ending up in a dark dimension - I thought dorm broke the internet when he crushed her but nay, just another RQ.

oh and I'm the scrub?

I have been playing the team Phoenix/Wesker/Frank West lately. Yes, that is Jean on point, because I am apparently insane. Anyway, I started up a match with this guy. I don't remember who he had on point, but it was a character that didn't have teleports or great anti air options. I started the match by super jumping, flying, throwing her tracking fireball, waiting for it to get closer to him, and then teleporting above him.

This person immediately ragequit, and then sent me a message with the only contents being "flying fag".

Strangely enough I have received no hate mail despite the fact that I play who I feel to be one of the most annoying characters in the game: Firebrand! I used to get tons of hate mail for vanilla most of them consisting of a single whimsical word: pussy

First was a Frank West player. Close to losing, RQs, I send a nice "lol, scrub"

And the other was a guy who wasn't actually bad, but as soon as I saw the 49-0 record, I told my girl he was either really good, or a RQ'er. Psychic as fuck.

no messages yet, but i did get a RQ yesterday as i was perfecting someone running a Vergil/Deadpool/Dante team. hilariously enough people playing those characters are the ones i find to RQ the most

So it's been eight days and my brother and I have taken it upon ourselves to go ranked and smash anyone online, with pretty a good success rate, but still there's been no hate mail. Not even when he bodies someone with Wesker and taunts afterwards. What are we doing wrong?

Also, LawlHT is right, people who play DMC characters seem to ragequit more often than those who don't.

Best destroying of a Dante I've done has been with a PW/Sentinel combo. Threw out a "whiffed" Maya super, and DHC'ed into Sentinel when the other guy teleported afterwards, proceeded to XFC, relaunch, and hit with another super. Dante did not survive. No ragequit or hatemail after that though.

Even though I play Vergil, it's hilarious to see people playing team "DMC". Dante unintentionally teabagging the ground while the player tries to teleport makes me laugh so hard every time I almost forget the free air grab that's coming up =)

On topic, no hate yet. One guy I crushed actually asked to be my friend so I can help him level up. When did online Marvel player stop being so immature...?

I've found that Ghost Rider is definitely a good way to get people to ragequit. I've had about 6 or 7 in one evening. I get them down to one hit and thenit's "Connection has been lost". No hate mail as of yet for him though...

Wow, I can feel that pain. Actually, that happens to me in SF4 too...I get kicked out of lobbies sometimes, but I see it as training, failing is essential to learning, and besides, fuck those haters. If they really piss me off, I send them a polite passive-aggressive letter apologizing for how stressful my lack of experience must have been for the group, and the responses vary from "sry, np, lols" to "wut".
