There has always been salty complaining it was just not at all widespread because of the interwebs and forum trolls.

There has been banning at all majors due to physical altercations.
Ton's of folk caught ass beatings for tick throw's and the like.

In all honesty, there's probably no more than 5 characters who were correctly balanced and brought to where they're competitively viable but not stupid.

You guys turn around and give Dr. Doom his outrageous j. when he didn't need ANY buffs and then give Hsien Ko more useless projectiles to throw.

lol I mean once doom hits you with j.S foot dive, the guy can run a marathon, have tea with the queen of england, find the cure for cancer AND THEN OTG you. It amazes me how much leniency of time Doom is given to OTG post footdive, I must look at the frame data of frame advantage on hit for that move.

It is tricky, especially online, but it's not that hard. Plus most people use Doom as an Assist/Anchor, and with XF3 you don't need buktooth loop to kill a character.

The Buktooth loop is pretty friggin easy. It only becomes somewhat difficult after the 2nd rep. Then again, whose combos in this game aren't easy? Besides Felicia, Magneto, Dante, C. Viper, etc.

Surprisingly I haven't found that many bad matchups for my team except for maybe Wesker. But my team is so balanced I hardly get salty at anything other than scrubs who abuse the game's easy mechanics for free damage. Seeing Chris G's Ryu wait like what must have been 20 real seconds to wait for the one dead spot during Noel's level 4 j.S Frank to whiff punish him out of it and kill him was pretty amazing (at NEC). He's just another character you have to block a lot unless he has a good assist for his roll+assist mix ups. Otherwise he's just another Sentinel except with normals that chip (which is a problem).

Playing against a guy in player matches who picks all top tier characters, but just cannot seem to win. He keeps trying all the cheap tactics, yet they don't seem to work, but he keeps trying. In the end, he loses a lot of the games in that set. But then out from the darkness a man in a trenchcoat and sunglasses comes to save the day, with not level 3, but 4 x-factor, and kills his opponents team with gun crossups and that retarded super that crosses up for no reason. Upon this victory the Wesker puts on his shades and utters a rude remark, as if he is truly the better man. After finally getting that one win, they sit at the rematch screen, letting time run out.

This just happened to me. I used PW/Hulk/Sent (a team idea I figure I'd try out) and he played Vergil/Taskmaster/Doom. I beat him about 4-1 I think, then he goes to character select. I decide to change teams completely and go Deadpool/Arthur/Doom. He goes Zero/Dante/Wesker. I beat him about 3 times in a row, before dark Wesker rises and kills me.

Ha! I played Zero like that many times, if your going to play Zero like that. Pick someone else, please. There's basically nothing about unique about Zero in that combo at all. Literally no need to use Zero at all.

This. What's makes me salty is that I try holding up to jump out of a crouching blockstring but I still get hit standing up, as if I never jumped at all. Sucks when I'm fighting Dark Phoenix and I block the crossup teleport only to lose to crouching L's.

That's actually normal. Jump has 4 startup frames, and if you get hit in those, you get hit standing. It's an anti chicken blocking mechanic that's in every game AFAIK. Which is why Wesker's command grab is so scary. You have to jump to avoid it but if he does cr.L, you get blown up.

This game makes me salty. I play it because I was a huge fan of the vs. series growing up. Now that its out the game is ass. Seriously. X-factor makes anything possible and it causes alot of bullshit to happen. Its a comeback mechanic that effective, which IMO and most of the players opinion, is lame as fuck. And these damn hitboxes make 0 sense.

Its still fun and I love it, but this game is ass... seriously.
