    Why are you even here? You're smart enough to not play/have the game right? Can you guys go have your hipster discussions somewhere else?

    People going nuts over a glitch need to recognize how much coding a project of this scale takes. This glitch didn't steal your lunch money or destroy your village. It's not like Capcom won't fix this either.
    Too many whiners and cry babies these days.

    I'm here to discuss and monitor the on going progress of Street Fighter x Tekken. Also, no, the glitch didn't steal anyone's "lunch money," but it sure is undermining the value of the $60 people dropped to play the features for this game. Due to the Q&A and authentication processes needed for patches on PSN and XBL, a fix for this is at least two weeks out, at the minimum.

    I don't know why anyone is displaying an ounce of forgiveness for this game or Capcom. Any company that decides to shit on the integrity of their own product by chopping it up to sell back to the customer in tons of portions and introducing pay-to-win garbage like the Ultimate Defense gem (which also devalues almost every other gem load out in the game) deserves no respect. Don't get pissy at me for reacting in a completely sensible manner to this entire disaster.

    No one is saying that properly fixing this shit is easy. Nonetheless, this is entirely Capcom's fault and basically means all of the positive changes with this patch are null and avoid until the next patch, because tournies will almost certainly use an un-updated version of the game and Capcom has turned the online play into a game of Minesweeper. Even testing basic match ups with the final patch build would have revealed this since not only does this extremely devastating bug affect several characters (some of the most widely-used ones even), it's extremely easy to replicate because it can occur over the course of any normal these characters are involved in.
    And after this post you'll go back to playing more Capcom games, stfu hypocrite.

    Can I pop in Resident Evil 5, AE2012 or UMvC3 right now and do some online play without fear of being hit with an extremely easy to perform game breaking bug getting in the way? Yes? Then you're not making a point. No one is claiming everything Capcom does is bad, but there's no sense in defending them on letting such a ridiculously damaging bug slip through the cracks, especially since it's not even remotely obscure or difficult to do.

    Yeah, I do.

    But so far these new bugs are on things that weren't even changed. Nothing changed about Yoshi's jumping flea, how was a normal jump startup animation entered into it (or the negation of it reversed)? As far as I know, nothing changed about rolento's knives, why do they now crash the game? It's just sloppy, like seeing the new colors just sitting there at the bottom of the color selection for weeks knowing I cant choose them....

    I would love to be on your side man, supporting Capcom and saying "shit happens." Anyone who has seen my previous posts on other topics knows that I try my hardest to stand up for them and try to give them the benefit of the doubt and make a realistic argument out of a blatant hate spamming.

    But it's just lost its ground. The dev team is lazy. It's plain to see. Tons of glitches from day one on things that arent even that situational, and are very common like the super floaty states from all kinds of trades. Alot of this stuff I can agree just comes about, like infinites, which I dont have concerns about because I know they will be fixed. But now we're talking several months into the game, several months of post-release testing and consumer feedback.

    There's no excuse for something so common as for a fireball hitting a knife to crash the game. These patches have to be approved. This means either the dev team is lazy in that they don't double check their code when making changes, or that they don't test the code before telling the uppers that the code is good. Either that or the other way around, and the uppers rush the dev team into making changes without giving time to test or double check code. Someone is clearly at fault in how they are organizing the development of this game, it's not enough to just say "these things happen" anymore. Just like "bad coding sometimes happens because it's difficult" so do bad dev teams because they are lazy/rushed. There's no coincidence to these new bugs and the previous ones, and other sloppy work like the colors I mentioned above. Something is being mishandled by some part of the team.

    In any case there is no argument against the fact that Capcom is currently killing this game in several different ways. I'm in the group that actually enjoys the game, but everyone can see that the SFxT team is fucking up.

    You do realise Capcom is HUGE right? I've seen better patches from Indie developers. They proved they could patch shit with AE2012. This team most likely consists of children, this patch is embarrassing.

    Meh.. I come from MK9 so I've seen way worse than this lol.

    Block infinites, bomb traps, invisible glitch, force ball still on the screen, inescapable resets, moves with random armor and random hitboxes, random frame data, input drop, invisible wall, animation freeze.. If you can think of a glitch there's a good chance MK has seen it. :D

    The GGPO GAYNESS ROLLBACK is so evident in this game; it's painful. It isn't masked so neatly as it is in 4/AE.

    The GGPO used in this game(and 3SOE) is really bad though.

    Not at all comparable to GGPO on computers.

    GGPO sucks, incredibly overrated.
    One thing I have learned in my 10 years fighting online: This shit is all monkey-see/monkey-do.

    If by 'input-delay' you mean 'input-ignore' then I agree.
    In 4/AE and XTekken: I do moves (especially fireballs) and I just stand there sometimes-nothing. not even a punch comes out.
    I get forced into jumps alot.

    kaillera was waaay better, take it from someone who has been on both.

    Yeah what he was saying doesnt make sense, but I think Capcom pretty much botched GGPO and made it seem like a bad netcode for their system releases....

    Neither SFxT nor SF4 use GGPO. As far as I know SF4 uses a Capcoms selfmade lag netcode and SFxT uses Capcoms selfmade rollback netcode (NOT GGPO).
    You´re complaining about dropped inputs which isn´t a netcode problem at all. My advice for you is checking your replays with input data on display. You can then check easily what went wrong and why a move didn´t come out.

    THANK GOD! LOL, I have had this happen with Juri and Chun. I'll either get EX Senpusha like Vulcan did or EX LLegs with Chun.
    I'll watch my replay and the input are in fact correct. I cannot for the life me figure out why it does that.
    Just like sometimes I'll try to initate a Cross Art (I have one button mapped to MK + MP) and it'll only see one button instead of both? but SSF4 will always see it as a Focus Attack -- go figure!

    A lot of lows go right through the sword in flea stance. Poor guy needs some attention, lol.

    This glitch has happened to me a few times already:

    Looks like a buffer issue to me. If you look carefully, you didn't have two bars until Juri's cr.hp connected; once the cr.hp connected it registered that you had two bars. So the game, for whatever reason, doesn't register that you got the two bars during the hit freeze, when you buffered super, and gives you an EX move instead.

    That's the only way I can explain it. Some kind of discrepancy between when the game actually recognizes that you gained meter in regards to buffering moves.

    OMG YES! This seems to be character specific too. Ryu's cr.mk and Sweep often go through Yoshi's sword for no apparent reason while other characters get counter hit.

    They definitely need to fix that too. :D

    EDIT: Wait, no that's not a glitch. It's intended that Yoshi only has 1 counter hit stored in his sword. You need to jump, duck or dash to regain counter hit properties otherwise the sword is "empty". This has been known since day 1 and is even mentioned in the guide I think. It's not a glitch.

    There is a glitch however like I mentioned with Ryu's pokes going through Yoshi's sword despite him having an active sword. But even then I'm not sure if it's a glitch or just a matter of Ryu having virtually no hurtbox on his legs.

    not sure if this is a glitch but if you use Bison's headstomp as a character tags out, Bison will fly across the screen extremely fast and over the head of the person coming in. I'm sure this problem has something to do with the headstomp's auto tracking but it's annoying to say the least.

    Yeah, I think it should have. Personally, I don't see how they could have screwed that up. I built my own fighting game (or rather, am still working on it) with a buffer system, and when a move is buffered, the game checks how much meter you have just before the move comes out, after the hit-freeze period. After looking at the video again, it looks like you buffered the move after the meter was gained...so there must be something off with the buffer system in regards to meter gain.

    I wouldn't get my hopes up of getting it fixed quickly, not just because it's a "minor issue" but if it truly is an issue with buffers, it's going to take a while...if my limited programming experience is anything to go by...

    This new patch brought more connection problems then ever for me. the other day i was in a 2 on 2 endless room the match lagged out and when we got back to the room the second team couldnt see the READY icon. THEN when we decided not to ready up we almost got skipped.

    so I just found two glitches in scramble mode:

    1. when I did Cammy's EX hooligan throw on two airborn opponents I grabbed the first one the second one did a regular air grab and it clipped her and cammy flew off screen..she came back when someone did their super

    2. this one was off of lili's ex counter and ogre's grab tornado move...lili did an ex counter and ogre hit them with the gtm at the same time and opponent was just spinning in the air like jin's old kick glitch

    I'm sure this has been discussed before. But while in Versus mode and you select the Rematch option, the fight will then begin and the characters won't glow after their gems have been activated

    It's a very random bug that doesn't happen all the time.

    Anyone else getting a screen where it reads, "Failed to load game. The game cannot continue. Returning to the Title Screen." I don't actually get returned to the title screen. I keep getting stuck in an infinite loop with this message. It has happened twice so far on the same night. This started happening after I downloaded the DLC and latest patch.

    I'm running into it now. However, my disc also now has a circular scratch on half of it. It was running without issue until today, when I (admittedly) hit the table my 360 is sitting on, so I'm thinking the "failed to load" thing might be because of the scratch.

    AI keeps trying to throw my downed character, especially Vega.
    This is not a glitch, you've set the CPU to "little brother". He's going to start jumping backwards and sweeping over and over. Then a controller will be flung to the floor and Ryu will turn to the camera and say that this game sucks and he wants to play the one with the boobs.

    If you don't put DOA4 in, he'll yell downstairs for your mother and tell her you were trying to show him boobs.

    I just won the last 4 ranked matches I played in a row and now I have 0 bp. I was searching for ranked matches, and a few times it found this guy who had high ping, each time it said "you have been removed because the player has left the lobby" or something. When it found me someone else to play against I notice my BP is now at 0.

    ^ Yeah since the DLC patch, I lose BP in every ranked match (win or lose). Went from 4000 to 1600 in the past week with a win ratio of 70%.

    I guess that's why it seems like I've seen a lot more strong players with not as high of points. I've got a glitch on mine where I loose to really good players. I wish they'd patch that. :D

    When Alisa gets hit with jin's MA mp on counter hit her body gets stuck in the air neck level in slow motion for 3-4 seconds. It's extremely distracting.
