The 16th installment of FINAL ROUND is back and better than ever! Thank you to EVERYONE that attended FRXV in making it the biggest Fighting Game Tournament on the East Coast with over 1500+ competitors from around the world competing to be the best in their favorite games. With Japan shocking the world with FinalRoundbats season #2 champion Kusoru "Ageo Joe" winning UMVC3 at FRXV on American soil with his V.Joe, Frank West, Rocket Racoon team made for high drama! What surprise's will happen at this years event? We hope that everyone that attended FRXV will come back and bring 5 friends with them. The location of the event is as followed:

$93 per night for the double bed room under the Final Round discounted group rate.


Yes we are happy to return to the Hilton near the airport for FRXVI. Players that fly to FRXVI will be a 3 minute shuttle ride from the venue. There's a FREE 24 hour shuttle from the Airport to the tournament venue so no expensive cab rides from the airport this year. This location also has plenty of places to eat inside the venue and around the venue and it is PET FRIENDLY for you guys that bring your pets to the tournament.


This year we'll be using the EVO/UFGT pool system (16 man brackets per pool, double elim) for all tournaments at FRXVI to complete the tournament in a timely manner. At this moment the games that are confirmed for now as Official events for FRXVI are the following:

Do you mean the greyhound or megabus station? Forget a taxi. Ride the public transit called Marta! Just take it to the airport and get on the shuttle to the Airport Hilton. Both bus stations are at Marta stations.

If you are flying in grab your bags and then get on the shuttle for a 3 minute ride to the venue.

OK i've had this idea for ages, but it seems like it might happen this year. There will be a 5v5v5v5v5v5v5v5v5v5v5v5v5v5v5v5 team tournament at FRXVI in TTT2. The rules are you need to have 5 players from your state/area in a pokemon style single match, but double elim bracket. There's a max of 2 teams from your area. This will be the best of the best competing in the newest installment of Tekken. I've talked with Bronson and he said Nor Cal should have a team ready for this event. Wayne Gamble said he will have his florida team ready. Jio said he will have Tenn ready. JodyDaGreat said DA LOU will be ready! Sayco said he has va/md a team ready. Kor said he would be ready with a texas team. I know the ATL will be ready. If I missed an area then speak up, but i'm going to need your team members names and your area/state you're representing if you want to compete in this event. Only the strong will survive! Will it be you? This will be streamed on friday to get the event started on the right note! The singles event will be on Saturday. So what area will claim the title of BEST IN TTT2?

Hey yo, it's me, it's me, it's RDG (RUSH DOWN GOD) VDO here just wanted to say that FRXVI will be the next official event that I officially enter a sanctioned tournament! The game will be TTT2 and I hope to of course body as many people as I can! I will also be (with Larry's clearance) be operating some other events involving the old school MVC2 heads so next year FR can't come sooner! See y'all boys n girls there............

Yes, Final Round is going back to the one we used in 2011. The Hilton Hotel which is bigger than the Concourse Parkway.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 will be a side tournament and we'll have more information regarding this.

It's been a long time coming, but TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 is finally here and ready for tournament play! Whether you're a veteran of the TEKKEN franchise or a new player altogether, the TEKKEN community is always welcoming players of all walks of life into their ranks. TEKKEN has long since been a part of tournaments across the country, especially here on the east coast.

It's for that very reason that we're very proud to announce the TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 Circuit! This circuit will bring the winners of the TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 tournaments from Northeast Championships in Philadelphia, PA, to FINAL ROUND XVI in Atlanta, GA, to East Coast Throwdown 5 in Morristown, NJ, all the way out to the EVOLUTION 2012 World Finals tournament.

The east coast is a huge place when you really think about it. Not everyone is able to travel up and down from Pennsylvania to Georgia then back up to New Jersey, especially if they come from states nowhere near the
se three. That's why we want to reward our winners with not only the prize money they've earned, but with the opportunity to go to a part of the country they may not have been able to see and compete in before.

The rules to this tournament circuit are simple. If you win the TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 tournament at Northeast Championships 13 in Philadelphia, then you will be awarded a plane ticket to FINAL ROUND XVI. If you win FINAL ROUND XVI, you will be flown to East Coast Throwdown 5. If you win ECT5, you will be flown to Evolution in Vegas. Following NorthEast Championships The following TOP 8 at each event will be seeded for the following tournament and the rest of the entries will be seeded by region at Final Round XVI and for East Coast Throwdown 5. This promotes people to attend more than one event to make sure they are properly seeded in this circuit. Here's the following point system as listed below;

1st place 10 points
2nd place 7 points
3rd place 5 points
4th place 3 points
5th place 2 points
7th place 1 point

If you're local to any of these tournaments that you've won a trip to, we will pay for your hotel room instead of the flight. The four of us from Big E Gaming, FINAL ROUND LLC, and East Coast Throwdown want to make sure TTT2 is the most memorable TEKKEN for you guys yet, and what better way than to fly you around the country to represent your home turf?!

P.S.- Before you assume anything we at FINAL ROUND LLC, BigE Gaming, or ECT don't know what the official games will be for Evo2k13. We are offering these trip's to help the community travel to 4 great events in the fighting game community.

Every game won't be in the same ballroom to help with the crowding issue. We will have 2 ballrooms. Both will have a main stage to play stream matches from all weekend long. Also having a better schedule will help with the crowds. I hope you attend next years event and thanks for supporting FR.

Unfortunately with the ncaa final four being in Atlanta, ga in march all of the hotels that have the space to run FR are booked. With traditional tournaments events like Winterbrawl in late feb and traditionally tournaments like Civil war and power up are in april and I didn't want to date stomp on other community events. We have community events scheduling conflicts with mlg that can't be controlled with certain majors near or on the same day as community events. I don't want to have the samething happen with the community events on or near the same dates as other community events.

I'm from New York and I was wondering how do I get to Final Round 16? Also are the hotel rooms booked or still available? I mean were the final round venue going to be? Airport Hilton? So, the hotel is $93 per night with double bed. Can I go by myself or I need a group to have an discount rate?

Yes if you fly to Atlanta for FR then it will be a FREE 3 minute SHUTTLE RIDE from the airport to the tournament venue. You don't need an actual group to receive the FR group rate. Just call the hotel and reserve your room asking for the Final Round rate.
