Hi guys i just joined shoryukendotcom been meaning to do so for ages but didnt really bother, i love fighting games and been playing em for years. This however doesnt mean im any good since the place i grew up in has no FGC watsoever lol so basically all these years ive been playing against CPUs and when i finally got my ps3 i got bodied...HARD lol i asked many people the reason and they said i lacked the proper funadamentals...so i finally decided to escape the salt mines i had been banished to and get to learning fighting games the right way...also none of my friends care for fighting games which is also another reason why im here lol pleased to meet ya xD btw i main chun been doing so for years in the different fighting games i came across minus the crossovers...

You might want to check out the Matchmaking section to find some local competition:

Playing with others locally gets better results than slugging it out by yourself or playing online (which I'd say is not as reliable).

Also check out the character forums and strategies in the games you're playing. Look up tutorial videos and character match-ups. It wouldn't hurt to ask around for tips either.
