Input for special xx super

I have a quick question regarding the inputs for cancelling a special into super. So, for an instance, I am playing rose, and I want to cancel my spiral drill into super. What I have been doing is

df.mk xx df x2.hp

And my question is , since a super requires two down forward, can I skip the 3rd down forward as the drill already requires a df? So as oppose to do the command above, can I simplify it and do df.mk xx df hp instead?

I will just assume that your "down forward" is supposed to be "quarter circle forward".

The answer is: Yes (but you could've just tried it out?)

Oh yes, qcf. I've tried it but it didn't work for me so I wanted to verify. So, if the super doesn't come out by just doing 1 qcf after the drill, is it because I am doing it too slow?
