You just heard about this? Protip, don't watch the kickboxing reboot btw, it's the visual equivalent of getting ass raped in jail, a jail you were sent too on fabricated charges.

I saw (got bored, vodlockered it)...I don't know what made them think it was a good idea. At some point they had to realize they were strapping wings to a turd. I guess by that point, it was too costly to just drop it, so they finished and hoped they could recoup some money. Directors need to stop trying to cash in on old movies that were done better, and with a more charismatic, believable cast.

Now...Bloodsport remake's premise in this day and age would turn into "Taken" in the first 20 minutes. Think about it: Some guys in HONG KONG are hosting a JAPANESE martial arts tournament to decide the strongest woman in the world (tm)? That has "show up and we'll kidnap your ass into a human trafficking ring so fast your head will spin" written all over it. Nobody with any kind of sense would host a tourney under such sketchy premises if they actually wanted women to show up. Admiral Akbar's spinning so fast in his grave he's causing a damn continent-destroying whirlpool on his home planet.

I know Southworth is a stuntman. Bosch still does some fight work, too, he was in Death Grips with Eric Jacobus.

Broken Path is a Koichi Sakamoto joint, and so both Southworth and Bosch worked with him when they were Power Rangers.

I haven't heard from Thousand Pounds in a while. The last thing I saw from them was that TMNT homage fight scene they did. That was about 2 years ago.

Yeh they did a really good job setting up the potential for turning this into some epic Fast Furious 8 movie franchise.

I thought Batista and the deadpool chick were moving up, after Deadpool and Guardians of the galaxy. WTF. I know the paycheck couldn't have been that good for that cheapass movie. And don't get me started on JCVD himself.

And the lead character.... what a boring poser! None, absolutely NONE of young JCVD's charisma and on-screen presence. A throwaway actor for a throwaway movie.

Also those flashbacks....WTF. You KNOW a movie is bad when you get confused and can't tell past from present.

Just saw Donnie Yen 1hr ago. Me and my colleague at work approached him and asked for a picture. He's not exactly the most approachable guy, god damn, lol. You know when you speak to someone but they don't want to be anywhere near you, lol.

Sorry for bumping 2 threads. I figured this one was more appropriate than the other one.

That's exactly why he's in London. I've heard a lot of stories about Donnie being difficult to work with so I wasn't that surprised at his reaction. I genuinely felt that vibe when I approached him calmly. Bear in mind I was at work, working as a head doorman of a night club so I'm not exactly going to approach Donnie like a screaming fan. In fact me and my colleague approached his security guard first and asked if we could take a picture. I think I said something along the lines of "Hi, Mr Yen I'm a huge fan of work what are you currently doing in London"... I said that in a less goofy way. Donnie rolled eye's and sighed and whilst looking away from me said, "I'm shopping with my wife". I decided not to ask him anything else after that, lol. His security guard took our picture with my colleagues phone (not really a close colleague this was our first shift together) I quickly pulled out my phone to take just one picture but his securoty guard said, "no, ask your colleague to send you the picture I've taken", I agreed...... This mofo took 2 days to send the picture to my phone. The whole experience was such a let down I didn't even care about the picture when I received it.

    Pics or it didn't happen

I'm not sure which is more shocking: How god awful that remake was....or that Batista and that cute MMA chick from Deadpool starred in it.

WTF. I thought their careers were on the upswing after Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy, to be casted in such cinematic garbage. JCVD was the only 'watchable' element of it and even his role kinda sucked.

Forgot about this one. I wonder why they're taking their sweet time putting it out on DVD/BluRay.

Anyway, from the consensus of the reviews and spoilers i've seen, it delivered Big-time with the fights and the story was a sweet, simple redemption tale. Only thing is the ending was 'meh' and a huge step-back for the character. Not to spoil anything but, you'll know what i mean when you see it. The character should be past all that by now. WTF.

Otherwise, a good entry that fans will be happy with. I look forward to seeing it when they release the Blu-Ray five years from now.

It's not his daughter lol its the wife. His son is in all of his movies these days, nigga is a bigger disappointment than jacky chans kid.

Watch the movie tho it's pretty solid, also his last 2 ventures are on netflix too which are 6/10 watchable for seeing dudes getting styled on.

Actually, he's starred in one last year which was excellent, he plays a bad guy in the same vein as Desert Heat and not Expendable 2. Shit is amazing.
