So im still kinda new to fighting games and not sure how to play against zoning characters like Peacock. I cant get anywhere near her and when i do i usually end up on the other side of the screen. Im currently using Filia and Cerebella. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Approach Peacock from the air if your Filia. Peacock has limited Anti Air options and Filia can air dash to avoid any item drops. Cerebella can be patient by covering ground with her dash runs. Use reflector if your opponent is really predictable with H Bang Bang. Cerebella has some Armor properties on her moves so she can tank her way through.

Be careful about using Cerebella's Tumbling Run if Peacock is standing on the ground and has meter; she can punish it on reaction with her beam super.

My Cerebella doesn't do great against Peacock, but I'm not terrible at it either.Approaching using dash jumps, where you start a dash then immediately jump, can be a good option. Once you're in the air you can either use j.MP to swat Peacock out of the sky from a surprisingly long range, or just airblock. Doing low glides by holding HP in the air also seems useful in practice, but I haven't tested how easy it is for Peacock players to punish it with item drops.

If you get to within half a screen of Peacock and you think she's going to start charging an item drop or calling bombs, you can throw out titan knuckle (forward+HP) and knock her down, then dash towards her as she's getting up. A lot of Peacock players will either try to immediately jump back or call another item when they recover, and you can stuff either of those by throwing out another meaty titan knuckle :)

If you manage to force Peacock to back into a corner, she can have a hard time escaping. You can beat any jump attempts by hitting her out of jump startup with c.LK, and if you're on the ground you can punish any teleport attempt (including fake teleports) on reaction with your 360 grab super.

Filia has a much easier time against Peacock in my opinion. You can fly over the top of everything she does by jumping up, using LK hairball at the peak of your jump, then dashing forwards and continuing your air momentum by using a move such as j.MP. When you're high above Peacock, you can either drop down and attack or just call assists while dashing over the top of her. Another good option for getting in is jumping and immediately doing your MK hairball, which should go over the top of her guns and ground bombs but is low enough that it's hard for her to hit you with the aeroplane bomb.

Once you've got Peacock cornered, if you don't use any moves that have a long recovery or sometimes miss on her in the corner (e.g. jumping HP) then she'll have a hard time escaping. If she teleports past you, you can often catch her during the recovery just by dashing towards her and jabbing her.

With either character, you'll want to do as much damage as possible once you land a hit. Peacock doesn't have any invincible air moves and her invincible ground moves aren't great either, so if you get your combos and resets down you can often kill her from 100% health without letting her escape.

That's about all I know. I wish I could link some recent video footage of myself playing against Peacocks to explain what I'm talking about but I don't have a way of recording console games, sorry!
