He fought cautiously and didnt even work the body all that much like we're used to seeing from Cotto. I don't know why that happened. Cotto seemed to think he didn't have to punch.

Just like what Cutwest said, "he learned from Mayweather". He probably thought that punching less and trying to move his body more would win points, i mean it used to be different.. even Mayweather sr started scolding floyd for doing that.. but since Floyd still won it may have gave Cotto a false idea that it would work for him too.

Who is watching the Klitschko v Fury fight tonight? I will try to some links on deck. I know @CUTWEST will come through as well.

Im watching for sure. My prediction is Fury gets KO'd. Hes big but doesnt have the skills needed to fight Wladdy

He didn't fight anything like Floyd in that fight at all.... Why does it always come back to this.... The reason Cotto didnt stay planted is Canelo was way bigger and way stronger. If Cotto had of sat and traded he would have got destroyed. He was trying to outbox Canelo and I think he did a good job, he didnt expect the bigger stronger Canelo to be able to move and box that well.... the fight was closer than the judging but Canelo still won.

    That's my two cents lol

Those links will be appreciated. I agree though, don't think he gets KO'ed but he lacks the skill to even open up the klits. I wonder if Wilder ever plans on fighting them or if he just wait for them to retire. There would be no shame in losing to the best heavyweights in the past 15 years. Wilder would fare better then Fury but don't think he can win right now.

Give that Mayweather hate a rest man, he's retired lol.

Wilder is a good prospect, but I think he isn't ready for Wlad just yet. Wilder hits hard and what not, but the level Wlad is at is pretty high up.

He fought a bit like floyd in the running part. He didn't fight completely like Floyd because Cotto tried to throw out as much as he could. During the 6 round and above, Cotto was on his bicycle and would come in with a few combinations here and there... the reason why the scoring was like that was because of Cotto playing a runaway game, it's not as abused as Floyd but still enough to make the judges give the scoring they did. The fact is, running is a hazardous strat to the point game and this only works with Floyd (as i have been saying), i really hope the dumb ass floyd fans in this thread realize the real rules of boxing.

Fury is owning this fight easy. Either Wlad sucks now or he's purposely throwing the fight.

Throwing or homie is just toast. Wilder would put him on his ass if he caught him like this.

    Well done Tyson :bring_it:

Bring on the conspiracy theories, Wlad trying to throw the fight, wrapping his own hands without any officials present.

Creed the only sports film I can recall (besides og Rocky) where there was a gradual progression of skill throughout the film. Probably best example of showing and not telling. It was a lot of small shit that only people who keep up with fighting would notice.

plan on catching it this week, an early show or something. Can't wait

Creed is definitely one of the best movies of the year. Imagine though if that whole movie had Creed fighting like mayweather, just running around the fight more than swinging and effective counter punching. That movie would have been given a 1 star for being completely boring and just not boxing. I don't think mayweather fans would like that either unless mayweather himself is in it because they are dumb and ignorant enough to believe his shit.

Nevertheless, Creed is one of the best movies of the year.

At this point, it's pretty clear that Floyd fucked @Zatalcon 's mom and never called her back.

This is very obvious.... Man I can't believe Fury beat Wlad. I think Fury vs Wilder would be amazing assuming there isnt a rematch. I think if Wlad trained hard and took the fight serious and got some of his hunger back he could win.
