@Vynce that's awesome man.. Also guys just wanted to share that Brook reached out to me for a list or trusted US distributors - let them know about paradise, arcadeshock, jasenscustom, FA as the main hubs in the U.S. - if you guys want me to recommend any more ill get it over to them. Hopefully it will make it easier for everyone to pick these up going forward. I also brought up everyone's concerns about making these tournaments legal and asked them to prove that you can disable macros / turbo / and guarantee it will not interfere with the second player.
VideogamesNewYork is already carrying a few of their products so they might want to check with them to see if they'd be interested in carrying more of their product line.

I tried it with the only fighting game I own on PS4, which is Injustice (unfortunately). Anyway, it felt perfect. Looking forward to playing a more...happens-as-you-push-it game. I went wild on the character select screen and it was spot-on .

@Nobus3r1 ver. 2.0 yup that's where I got the 2 that I reviewed. Seems like they already have a good relationship with them.

Just got this in about the Makestick Pro:

    "Hi Jonyfraze
    Nice meet to you.
Thanks for writing best experience of Brook Converter in shoryukem forume.
Some player told IST MASKSTICK Pro can't work with PS3 to PS4 converter.
I'm sorry to hear it, so I ordered it to check.
We received it yesterday.. It doesn't follow Sony specifications to design.
Don't worry about it. We fixed and test it today, we will release new firmware coming soon.
If you need new firmware, I could send you to test.

    Thanks again..

Yesterday on a session we could not get to run a ps360+ with the xbox360 to ps4 for some reason.
My own stick was working with ps360+ but my m8's was not. He has the older hardware revision and was unsure about his ps360+ firmware.
I will be testing that further because I also have a stick laying around with the older ps360+ hardware revision.

Yeah very interested to know if it supports ps360+ as I have 3 sticks now unused which I would like to bring back to life on the ps4

Read the first post and through the comments we already have proven it works when connected to the xbox360 -> ps4 converters..

    Guys it is official.

I can confirm that the xbox360 to ps4 converter (light green) works with a ps360+ (latest hardware revision and latest firmware)

Tested it yesterday a couple of hours on a PS4 with USF4 and didn't have any problems so far. I didn't even have to force any mode, just plug and play worked like a sharm.

I will be doing a review shortly.

    Any word, Nobus?
Damn, you got a wolf spider.
    <-Jealous.

So far no converter and no reply.

This is getting frustrating. Where is DX even out of? I could google but here we are, commiserating.

As soon as I opened a dispute with them on paypal I got my convertor quickly afterwards.

I just missed it today, I think! Going to head to the post office to pick it up in a bit =)

    Edit- GOT IT!
I think mine attempted to come today but USPS didn't feel like obliging. Guess I check the post office after the holiday. -_-

Has anyone tested to see if a Hitbox work with those adapters?

@C-Sword doesn't hitboxes come with different PCB options? Usually they use the PS360+

I think the multi-console model uses the PS360+.

But the PS3/PC and XBox One versions might work on the PS4 with one of those Brook adapters.

After further testing i was incorrect. If you just have the ps360+ pcb, and no other pcb, the xbox360/xbox1 to ps4 adapter WILL work. All my sticks are dual mod so to work xbox1 except for one. I just tried that one and it worked great on the PS4. Right now i'm thinking since you normally just need the connect the D+ and D- lines between the pcb, it's missing the Vcc and Ground wires being connected. when i have the chance. i will connect the two wires to see if that will work.

Just connected the VCC and Ground wires between the xbox1 pcb and ps360+ and the adapter can't read it. Must be a communication error. so the x1/x360 to ps4 works if 1: the ps360+ is not dual modded or 2: you boot up to the xbox1 pcb if it is dual modded with the ps360+.

So I got 2 Red converters (PS3/PS4 to Xbox One) this weekend and used them to play Gears of War Ultimate Edition on the Xbox One w/ Dualshock 4 controllers. They work fine for the most part, except that the controllers turned off a few times during our 5 hour session. The controller battery levels were still fine when they turned off. The controllers turning off seems to be very random. One controller turned off every 1.5 hours or so. The other was more sporadic, going for long stretches and then turning off a few times in a span of an hour. Has anyone had this happen? Has anyone else done long session plays with these adapters, especially in wireless mode?

    My setup:
2 Dualshock 4's wirelessly connected to the Brook Red Adapters

When we kept one of the Dualshock 4's plugged into the converter with a USB cord, it seemingly stopped turning off mid-mid-play

Please comment if you have the Red Converter (PS3/PS4 to Xbox One) and have experienced this or if you know if the Red Converter has a newer firmware update than what it shipped with.

When this happened, did you check if the usb ports were running hot? Maybe is a power draw issue. When one of the controllers turned off, was the other controller effected (lag, etc)? Were you connected straight into the usb port or did you use an usb extension cable.

I did not check the adapters when the controllers turned off. But when I removed the adapters after our 5hr play session, the adapters felt fine, not hot or even warm.

We didn't notice any effects on the controller that did not turn off. In fact, the person that was not affected was usually oblivious to the fact that the other controller turned off until they were informed (usually through cussing because the controller turning off caused them to die). The affected controller that turned off would experience their character repeating the last input for about 1-2 seconds before no inputs. (i.e. if the last thing before the shut off occurred was walking forward, the character would walk forward for 1-2 seconds with no user input on the controller before all inputs stop).

We had both adapters on usb extension cables. One was about 1 ft in length and the other 6ft. We also tried a 10ft one too to see if it might have been a cable, but same issue. It is very very unlikely that I would have 3 bad cables. I use these same cables for other things and have never run into issues with the cables.

In our next play session, which unfortunately won't be for another week or 2, we'll try keeping one of the controllers plugged into the adapter. And we'll also shut off bluetooth on our phones to eliminate interference.

I think these adapters hold huge promise, but need a lot of testing done. If anyone has these, I would recommend doing long play sessions to help the community find and diagnose any potential issues. I have sent a message to the company and they said that they will investigate. I'm not sure how much they can do since my issue was only evident over a long play session.

You can report any issues you're having by sending them a message via facebook.

That doesn't affect me though, I only use those adapters to play fighting games and use wired controllers.

I used the contact us link on their website and got a response in less than 24hrs.

I also own 2 of the white PS3 to PS4 adapters that I use for my arcade sticks. They seem to work well but I have only used them for about an hour at a time and only 1 plugged in at a time. I'd be interested in seeing if anyone here has had lengthier sessions with them.

@NoChart shouldn't be a problem for that stick since it's a officially licensed PS3 controller. Most of the compatibility issues seem to stem from non standard / non-licensed products.. Just make sure to use the latest firmware and your good..

By the way guys - got a package in from Taiwan with the 360->ps4 and the new 360/XboxOne->PS4..

Soooo...I kinda got my Brook PS3 to PS4 adapter stuck on the firmware update mode (both blue and red LED on) and I have NO CLUE how to revert it back to just the Blue LED mode.

I've tried clicking in L3 + PS home button, as well as Start + PS home button.

Anyone know of a way to just set the thing back to factory default?

As far as ps360+ compatibility with xbox360 to ps4 goes it is really strange.
I was at a friend's house who has 3 ps360+ custom arcade sticks.
Out of the 3 only 2 were working. We double checked and all had the same hardware revision (latest) and all had the same firmware. All were using the usb connector and all were working on the pc.
We flashed the latest firmware once again but no change.
This is actually the second ps360+ which I could not get to work and I have absolutely no clue why.
Maybe there is a sub hardware revision that we don't know of yet.

yes, there are 2 PS360+ hardware revisions that i know of.. can you tell if the 2 sticks that worked have newer or older ps360+ boards (judging by acquisition date)?

FYI guys I'm using the older versions.. There is a rev 2 board that fixes a small delay on the 360 side. Never got my hands on that one. The revision number is printed on the board. @machomanmo maybe you can have your friend check?

Thanks your testing and give a report.
We follow your steps to test P3/P4 to XB1 with DS4 wireless for 4 to 5 hours.
We looked at the same issue with you.
My team members fixed this issue as soon as possible.
