Hmm... I wonder if my problem with the PS3/PS4 to PS2 adapter in xinput mode is similar to Monokeros' problem. My Hori V3 Fightstick also has ghost inputs as the converter tries to translate the inputs. I also hope the next firmware adds PS3 Mad Catz SE Stick support.

I just got in my PS3/PS4 Super Converter. It does not work on my Street Fighter IV SE Stick. It works on the Hori Fighting Stick V3, however I get some kind of jumpiness in the windows game controller configuration menu. I hope the next firmware will fix it.

Works fine with the DS3 controller.

    compatibility issue.....

I posted on Reddit about this but I don't believe it's an isolated issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/Tekken/comments/6hlap8/game_lags_when_ps4_brook_super_converter_is/

Recently I've been having some issues with stuttering. This is somehow related to my PS3 to PS4 Brook Super Converter being plugged in. When it's plugged in the game stutters and it constantly telling me to press start to continue, what happens when a controller is (un)plugged.
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with a recent patch or because I recently tried to use the Steam controller feature.
The converter is recognized as a PS4 controller.
I made a quick recording so you can see what I'm talking about: https://gfycat.com/VeneratedInfatuatedApatosaur
As you can see, the game runs fine, until I plug in the controller. When I do it starts moving around on it's own. I actually didn't turn on my PS3 controller until the message came up about connecting a controller (ironically). It doesn't fit in this gif/video but the stuttering stops once I remove the device.
I didn't have issues until I did the Steam controller configuration. Now I'm not sure how to undo it all.

    Here's a better video of what's going on: http://plays.tv/video/5946fcd9944ae53e01/controller-be-buggin-halp

This happens with and without XOutput running.

    Just to add more clarity:

    - I'm playing on PC, Windows 10
    - I didn't start seeing issues until one day I decided to try out Steam's controller support feature. Now I can't press the home button without Steam wanting to open big picture mode
    - This only seems to happen in games. The system/PC USB game controller configuration doesn't show these issues at all. As you can see from this gif I can press buttons and get no false inputs. Even the game controller API for web browsers works (the thing in the browser to the right is something I made to display controller inputs. Not for this purpose): https://gyazo.com/7b274b3774cde9d22deb358e71582452
    - I still see this issue in Overwatch, which is NOT a Steam game. Of course, it doesn't happen immediately as there is no X-input support, but when I activate the program XOutput to emulate an xbox 360 controller I start getting the same crazy stuff. Only different I can get NO input of my own: https://gyazo.com/a1b9fc4167a7cb08b73c539fcddd822d https://gyazo.com/f173050ada39baf3218b954cd8c50365

I would say there might be a driver issue but it seems to be isolated issue related only to games... or, perhaps, just x-input data

I found some issues with big picture mode as well, I noticed when I had just the converter connected and I click on the power button to close big picture the menu instantly closes. I wish there was some way to test the games without running steam/big picture to see if that's the issue here.

I got my PS3/4 to PS2 converter yesterday. Works great with my Hitbox's and other fight sticks that have Brook UFB boards in them. Pretty sweet. It's awesome playing CvS2 or 3S on Hitbox.

My Brook PS2->PS4 adapter stopped working. When I plug it in the light on my PS2 pad is active for a few seconds then turns off. Is this due to the new PS4 firmware update?

Try reinstalling steam! I reinstalled Steam and it fixed whatever issues I have let me know if it works for you.

Nice Steam messed up something with the controllers and big picture mode, it worked for the other person I was talking with this about too.

Hey I'm having issues with my PS3/PS4 to Wii U converter on Switch.

    1. Only the 1.01 Standard edition firmware for the is working on the Switch. The PS3/PS4 to Switch firmware does not read any inputs, from both a PS4 controller and a HRAP 3.

    2. I have weird issues with the input dropping every couple seconds after I hold down a button (1.01 Standard Edition).

What I understood is that even though the button was held down, sometimes it was as though the button were released. I believe that counter increased for as long as the button was held down. There were "false button release events".

Same. Tried Tototek's PSX to Saturn converter too. Nothing. I have a suspicion they might have programmed the ps2's interface in a way that's not compatible with PSX. I've noticed the PS360+ has issues registering PSX games on PS2 but handles PS2 fine. There's issues registering buttons with that. A few buttons work (Up, and circle I think), while Brook's adapter doesn't register. Like PS360+ has issues with PSX games on PS2 hardware and exhibits the same problems with Tototek Saturn converter. My Brook's adapter just doesn't register at all with any converter (Tried the same ps2 to Dreamcast converter). Tested with Dualshock 3 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 Madcatz stick

Hey all! Had a quick but specific use question: will the ps4 ->PS3 converter let me play PS2 games on a PS3 through emulation? I notice that my PS4 hitbox/ ps4 controller disconnects whenever I play PS2 games on a 60gb PS3, and I was hoping a converter might help. Thanks!

As a follow up, I got a PS4 -> X1 converter at Evo and it's dropping inputs regularly on every button except for the up and down inputs on hitbox. The hitbox works fine on ps4. Help!

I recently purchased a PS3/PS4 to PS2 converter. Works great with PS2 games! However I tried playing PS1 games on an original PSX, and PS1 games on the PS2. The adapter does not work when playing PS1 games on both the OG PSX and PS2 in PSX mode.

Controller I am using is a Dual Shock 4
I have tried turning off the analog mode as per the instructions, it was still a no go.

Brook has responded quickly to the need for new firmware, which hasn't happened often (most PS4 firmware releases haven't compromised Brook products).

Wanted to bump Komaklub's post from the last page so it didn't get lost. He's got a video example of an issue with the X360/X1 -> Wii U/Switch adapter, where the analog stick isn't working correctly. See below. Is it possible that we'll see this fixed in a firmware update?

It may still be o.k for some games but certainly not ZELDA as you cannot aim the bow properly or move around stealthily e.t.c..

Can this issue be resolved with a firmware update or would a SWITCH specific converter be required ?

This is sad to hear, though not unreasonable for it to be incompatible. Sucks because I'm in the market for a dreamcast stick and my two options are buy a cheap ps2 stick with the converter or straight up buy a dreamcast stick.

I wonder if this is something Brook can tackle... It doesn't sound impossible. Being able to use any given converters that expect a PS2 controller, like PS2 -> DC and PS2 -> GC/Wii (e.g., for TvC) would be a nice addition. I wonder if difficulties are voltage-related...

I recently purchased a PS3 to Xbox 360 converter and am having issues getting it to work with my Madcatz Street Fighter 4 SE joystick. I plugged it in and then turned on the 360 and I see that the controller light is lit on the 360 power button, but the joystick is unresponsive. I saw that the SE is compatible with other converters on Brook's website, but this converter isn't listed so I could not verify. Is there anything else that I need to do to make the joystick work?

Also I am in the process of building a joystick with Brook's PS3/PS4 board. Is that board by chance compatible with that converter?

    Thanks in advance.

Also I am in the process of building a joystick with Brook's PS3/PS4 board. Is that board by chance compatible with that converter?

    Thanks in advance.

The Brook PS3/PS4 fighting board can support with the PS3 to Xbox360 converter.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I cannot find a specific answer to the question so I'll ask it here.

Is there a Brook converter that is PS3/PS4 to Xbox 360? I'm looking to use me TE2 fightstick for 3rd strike on 360.

I appreciate the link, however this confirms what I'm looking for isn't available. While the site lists a PS3 to Xbox 360 converter as "in stock", it is not available in the drop down menu to purchase.

    Thanks for the help.

    Correction, found one on Videogamesnewyork.com

I don't know if I'm posting in the right place. I just bought a Xbox one controller to PS4 converter. I want to use my Xbox controller and I know voice chat doesn't work but my question is, I have Astro A40 headsets that are plugged into the PS4 via USB and optical audio with a mixamp. Will still be able to voice chat since I'm not plugging into my controller? Please let me know if I'm posting in the wrong place and where I should post if so. Thanks for any replies.
