Developed by AONE Games for PS4 and PC, the creators wanted to make a fighting game with "classic horror characters" in a very Mortal Kombat-esque gameplay style.

Funny enough, the leader of the project commented here in my country that the real reason why they decided to make a fighting game is because "there is only Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat so we wanted to make something unique, a new fighting game", yeah, you can laugh now.

In pre-alpha state now.

    Always interested in new fighters, will follow this thread..

    However it is kind of worrisome with their lack of knowledge of other fighting games... Or maybe they meant as far as popular mainstream fighters.

    What else have these guys done?

    Looks like they are putting a lot of work into it, by the low quality video it looks good so far, perhaps my only concern is how much experience they have with the genre, seeing that they seem to know only mk and sf, lol.

    It hard for me to form an opinion on the game when so little real game play was shown. From what I can tell, the animations are at least decent. I'm not a huge fan of the art direction, but that's pretty subjective anyhow.

    Hopefully you can show more in-depth game play. I'll bet your campaign will do better if you did that.

    I don't know. They've nailed that clunky Mortal Kombat esque gameplay style down pretty well. I didn't think it was possible to make a fighter look worse than that game but...surprise surprise.

    nothing will be as poorly animated as mortal kombat and it's clones.
    But mkx is the exception to all of that clunky ass choppy stopmotion. Long live mkx and everything after it.
    Robot chicken has smoother frames than the previous entries.
    Doa 5: Random Select.
    Ultra: Makoto/dudley/hugo/Oni/Cody/Guy/Honda/Poison.
    Mvc2: Random Select.
    Sf5: All the odd ones, no main

    Nice to see that my fellow south americans are starting to take off in the VG industry, but that aside the game looks very uninspired to me. There's nothing special or attractive about the character designs/locations, and the animations are extremely clunky. It doesn't feel like the game has an identity, if that makes sense.

    I wish the aesthetic of the characters was a little more varied, but we've only seen two so.

    Honestly the character designs don't seem very inspired at all. I don't feel like I'd have fun playing any of the ones that have been shown so far, they just come off as really bland. It says the inspiration comes from MK, but Mortal Kombat's aesthetic designs blow this stuff out of the water. I don't want a game that simply MIMICS Mortal Kombat (with the added factor of lacking originality), give me something Mortal Kombat DOESN'T offer. Otherwise what incentive do I have to play this over the former?

    Why is that armored knight guy not using a sword......they should give him and everyone weapons.

    Make it more like Weapon Lord and less like Mk.

    Weaponlord was awesome. It at least had innovative and unique gameplay (parry system, weapons, etc) for its time. This game just looks like copy/paste poop.

    I'm kinda worried that their fighting game knowledge only goes as far as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. As if they are truly unaware of other fighters within the genre.

    Gotta say, I've never seen a beam super with a four second startup before. Truly breaking new ground in fighting games.

    Why are the stages so damn long?

    yeah i did. The game looks plain, but there have been games that have beams with ridiculously long supers (young joseph's hamon beam from capcom's Jojo game comes to mind)

    i thought you joking about the developer's earlier statement of MK and SF being the only fighting games.

    That was like, 1.5 seconds? It's not a full four seconds like the beam in this video. And in any case it has no reason to be that long.

    Well, I was being sarcastic. I think it's dumb to presume to know everything about how well or badly a super works or is by watching a 3 minute video. Maybe they have a cool idea behind it, maybe they don't, who knows, I haven't played it. I'm looking forward to finding out tho.

    I'll deffo buy this. The stages length reminds me of galaxy fight! I just feel that they may not bring anything new to the table and could end up looking like a mobile app game.
