I am a pad player who just bought a cheap, used modded arcade stick this weekend. It only works on PS3 and Xbox 360 so seeing this "Universal Fighting Board" product that will also make it compatible with my Xbone and PS4 is absolutely brilliant. I could not find a vendor that sells the product in Europe. Is it possible to buy it from an online shop in the UK or Germany, or does it have to be imported from the US?

I could not find any price in Euro, only US dollars.

I assume I would only need to reconnect the wires from the old PCB onto the new Universal Fighting Board PCB to get it to work?

Theres plenty of shops selling it in Europe. Smallcab.net, shadaloo.eu and nsdp.es

Ah, thanks! So the price is 90 Euro + additional shipping to either the UK or Germany. A little more than the dollar price, but at least it will be delivered quicker I suppose :)

Have you personally tested it? Will my button presses be as swiftly registered as on a pad?

It doesn't matter if you buy it in the EU or US, it's the same hardware and has been tested by a lot of people with excellent results. Just read the thread and all signs point to it being good.

Since people are talking about foreign availability I was wondering if there was a good place to purchase this board from Japan.

Excellent, will order it this weekend then :)

By the way, the modded stick I just bought only has 6 buttons and I am having problems playing Street Fighter 3rd Strike with it on the 360. I cannot seem to be able to assign the correct button configuration. The game somehow interprets a button press as autofire and sometimes even the wrong button. I cannot turn off 3 punches or 3 kicks at the same time. Will I have the exact same problem in 3rd Strike on 360 using the Universal Fighting Board as long as my stick only has 6 buttons?

Why not just get the Ez Mod for the TE2? :)

gaming on avery small budget the price for the brook board will cost me more than i paid for the te2

You should ask the maker of the EZmod about this. He replied to another post saying that it's very difficult to hook the connectors up on the turbo panel, without using extra hardware, which means you would need some sort of resistors? and need to be an experienced solderer to do it successfully.

As someone that has bought a TE and built custom modded sticks, I can assure you that almost any option you pick to do it yourself will ultimate cost you more in parts / resources than a pre-built, mass-manufactured stick. If you build something yourself you can make something that is much more durable and will have all the exact parts you want, but it is always more costly. The one exception is if you have metal or wood-working skills and can build your own case. If you can build your own case, your material / part cost might even out or come ahead of the pre-built stick.

What exactly do you mean by "led buttons". You can put leds in buttons then wire them directly to a voltage source (but make sure to put a resistor inline first) and they'll be always on. The brook board does have a vcc connection screw terminal that you can use. I do believe it has player indicator led connections as well, but you would to solder to the trace. The other option is to use a controller board that controls the leds. I haven't used it, but the Kaimana board from Paradise Arcade (I probably spelled that wrong) has a programmable controller on it. You will need some technical knowledge to write your own programs for it though.

Was interested until I saw the price. How did they pull that ridiculous number out of their ass? Is there any reason for a simple PCB like this costing over 30 bucks for us consumers?

It's expensive but I wouldn't say it's outrageous for what you get. There are people who buy plastic Madcatz sticks that come with a few sanwa parts and a generic PCB (usable on 1-2 systems) for $200-300+ and no one has any problems buying those.

I don't find this that expensive. Given that 2 PADHACKS cost about $70 in parts plus the time and effort.... that's worth $20 to me for a clean and fast install.

Considering the Neo is not out yet and no one know what the Scorpio even supposed to be.

    @mangrullon
I think UFB should be well on Xbox one S.
We have purchased one to look, please waiting and report to all.

Wait... is there a Fighting Game only on XBONE worth buying? I mean, KI is there but I can get that on PC. XBOX-S seems like a silly investment if you have an XBO already. But, that's just me.

You can also tap into the respective points on that 20P connector as well by soldering wires to it.
