Why would white people support Brock? Am the whitest dude here and I would shoot him in the street if I could. JJ vs Reem is a better fight as already stated.

I don't know if anyone has been watching this card but if you haven't been. You've missed out. Except for the Rashad vs. Alvey fight, this whole card has been fire.

Rashad really let me down. Always been a fan of his but seems to be extremely hesitant. The card was pretty entertaining. Not exactly the finest examples of MMA but for a free card I will take it.

Mexicans getting wrecked as usual in MMA. 30 sec finishes for foreigners apparently.

Grasso is a cutie but relies too heavily on having strength advantage. She will always get owned by physical beast like Felice or Nunes.

WTF, GSP just signed for fighting Bisping at UFC 217. GET FUCKED UFC. Hope Bisping carries him 5 rounds then outright kills him with a few seconds to go. I hope Herb Dean refs this shit. Ivan Drago style.

    I was gonna post this.

I said years ago Barry was her problem. She had too much talent to be so inconsistent, she'd be calm and collected 1 day then emotionally a wreck the next.

Cuckbogart ran to his defense of course tho. I still think long term it would have just been better for her to be away from him.

Joanna is a grown ass woman and its hard for me to see Rose having a chance while she still relies so emotionally on Pat even in fights to have confidense.

thats just the nature of a relationship. like i dont see that as a detriment just the natural progression of being in a long term relationship. Some people can compartmentalize that shit and they rely on them outside of work and some people need that support for their work. everyones different, shes just different, you really cant compare joanna and her because of this. Joanna also from what i can tell hasnt lived anywhere as rough of a life as pat or thugrose..so how can we say shes grown and thug isnt? would joanna be the same if she lived the same road they did? we really cant say

Not saying Rose isnt mature I'm saying Jojo can fight at an elite lvl when her husbando is another continent away and she hasnt seen him in half a year.

That lvl of mental fortitute definitely plays into fighting. She's on another lvl with her decision making and self confidence that I fear Rose may never achieve now. She 2nd guesses herself too much and it will cost her imo.

I really wish that if this fight goes to the max rounds, then there's a bonus round where MMA is legal. But that would be stupid.

Meh, the SF champ has at least a fighting chance in Smash based off pure fundamental skills alone.

I can't think of any SF fundamentals that would carry over to Smash (especially melee). The movement on the ground and in the air is so different. An airdasher probably has more in common.

Blocking and spacing still work just fine. All that kicking up dust don't mean shit if they have no clue how to actually hit you.

It's been a while since I last played Melee, but since I could never be arsed to do more than wavedash a few times per match, I get by just fine waiting for the younguns to run into my fist while they do all that flashy shit.

Anyone with any actual talent at that game has their 2D fundamentals down pat.

Daigo managed to play some basic footsies with Marth in that SFV x Melee event. In fact, Marth is probably the easiest character to learn if you transition from SF to Smash.

Smash players on the other hand, only get their alertness and execution if they hop into SFV. No wonder Scar didn't went past 4, SFV doesn't emphasize execution like SFIV.

First time posting in this thread.

So... I was never really a fan of MMA, since I thought it was pretty homo/boring, but then I randomly stumbled upon Youtube channel "MMA World", last year. So with that said, I would like to give my 2c on this historic fight ― all with my less than a year of watching and learning about MMA.

― The fight that everyone has dreamed about. The fight that will answer these age-old questions: ―
    • "Can a MMA fighter beat a (Insert [boxing] specialist) at their own game?"
    • "Can a MMA fighter beat one of the GOAT UNDEFEATED Boxers ― in his debut boxing match?"
    • "Does the fact that Conor has MMA knowledge, does MMA knowledge > Pure boxing knowledge?"
    • "Do MMA fighters have the edge when transitioning into specific combat sports?"
    • And most importantly: "Will Conor prove Bruce Lee's philosophy to be correct?"
"I thrive under the lights. I'm no stranger to this. He's been on one side and I've been on the other side and we've been just going like this:"
    [BOXING] >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>―X―<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< [MMA]
    ― Mystic Mac

I've put all my faith in Conor. I've put all my faith in him because he represents Bruce Lee's philosophy, when it comes to Martial Arts ― not just boxing, but Martial Arts as a whole.

"You can't prepare for me. You can't prepare for the movement."

"This is legacy. This is people doubting me, questioning my skill set. Talking as if I’m a novice. Talking as if I haven’t been doing this my entire life. I’ve been fighting since day one and I’m the best there is. I can fight in many forms. We’re going to prove this. This here is Bruce Lee shit."
I bet on Conor against my brother and my friend for $100 each.

Just as Conor has applied Bruce's philosophy of Martial Arts to MMA, Boxing, and whatever other combat sport he may enter into, I have applied Bruce's philosophy to fighting games.

that was never the problem..it was the fact paulie was talkin shit like every fuckin boxer months ago. He thought conor knew it was just talk, conor on the otherhand got that mob mentality. Knew he was talkin shit and basically brought him in purely to fuck him up. it wasnt training...it was the conor revenge tour. he hates when people talk shit so he beats them up at the exact same thing they use....except grappling lol.

I have two VERY distinct hopes for the fight. I hope either Conor wins, or that Floyd wins by knockout in the first round.

Conor winning would produce the absolute most salt and be talked about for a while. Floyd making Conor look like Ronda Rousey might set the MMA world on fire before the tears wash it out.

Any alternative to me is not worthy of being talked about. In case you're wondering: yes, I'm literally just following this for the twitter tears afterward.
