AND... for the second week in a row, we may be graced by the presence of another living mvc2 legend (the others being jaspy jasp and christian). get excited!
... and btw, making a new thread doesn't defeat the idea that the same topics will be covered and the same people are going to be talking about them. i prefer the last thread because it was getting big and getting attention. if there's anyway to reopen it and leave this open for the new monkeys, i'd appreciate it.

A miserable pile of secrets?
Many of you have kept your orders in place trusting that we would do everything we could to get you the much sought-after controllers. We have been working closely with MadCatz to get more; especially the Tournament Editions. Rest assured, your patience will be rewarded. We will have a few more to send out this month and by the end of April, MadCatz is confident that they will have most, if not all, of the orders completed.

But the last thread ended on such a depressing note. Nerd on nerd violence is no laughing matter.

Thanks for the info. I'll grab those parts from Lizards once they're back open. Since it is so simple I'll take care or the gates myself and I can't imagine it is anything too tough but let m know if there is anything funky about switching the ball for a bat.
I seriously need to change these things out, I can't control either HDR or IV with the square gate. Hitting the corners no problem yeah but I can't tell you how many times I have jumped when I went to walk or jumped forward when I meant to go straight up and Chun's half circle back, ACK! I don't know how people effectively use square gates.
Changing to a bat? I just want to the thing to feel a little less like a toy and more like the US arcade cabs. I gota say though, I am loving how sensitive this thing is above even my custom.

Omfg a new MR.? MrSNK?!?!?!?!
Hey LITTLE RICHARD, put a simley next to the thread so I can just look for that when browsing for this vegas thread. Also remove the "and press low jab" makes the title too long and kills the joke.
Big Gee, you should tell top deck to send their SF4 team over to try and beat us. You should give some huge stipulation or make a bet. Cuz no doubt we would rape em.
Btw, tier list in SF4 is about to update. Be ready for the change.

@ chun: about the bat top, if you are using the JLF in that TE stick then you need to get a Sanwa bat top and an adapter since the bats are made for their JLW series. I'm doing the same thing on my ex2 once I get the parts as well.
That is some major BS if that was the Top Deck guys that did that. When I hear about this I can only envision something like this, but with game store crews: (you totally need to get yourself a trident)

Hey guys, when is the next tourney? I couldn't find one listed in the Tourneys & Events. Me and Mike Ross are planning to visit Vegas for some SF4.
Macc, post: 2823602 wrote:
Yeah you should be able to handle that no problem, but if it gives you any trouble let me know. Just as a heads up, it voids your warranty once you open it up. But I may pick one up myself once they get back in stock around April. Square gate or not they still got a nice feel to um.

I know who our top two will be this week :P
It's each Saturday, and the time varies.
Hey Gee, you really should have a offical time, is it 3, 3:30 or 4pm this week. Hopefully 3 pm....
I'll stop by GO later today. Couldn't make it yesterday.

Yeah I figured about the warranty but I have to make it playable for me. Don't get me wrong it does feel great and the response of the buttons are sick. I just make too many small mistakes with the stick and the gate really messes up my motions. I think I will pick up a round and octagonal gate just to be sure. Thanks for the heads up.
