    You know maybe not but this year, SNK Playmore has not seen fit to install a booth at the Tokyo Game Show 2009. The lack of new titles and the need to make some economies are undoubtedly the main reasons for absenteeism. This has not prevented Masaaki Kukino, the branch responsible for Research & Development at SNK Playmore, and incidentally the producer on the game The King of Fighters XII, to be back at the show. Her presence did we not escape and we are eager to interview him about the future and the next episode in KOF coming soon. This is a little restraint that evokes the forthcoming The King of Fighters XIII in front of our camera. It signed an exclusive JeuxActu.

    All it means is that, despite being late once again to the party, there's talk about KOF XIII coming soon.

    I just hope all the missing characters whose data was on the 360 disc are in XIII. Specifically Vice.

    It's only got a few less than the first KoF, and 10 more than Blazblue, when you have a huge roster like KoF it's impossible to give everyone every character they wanted, so they gave (mostly) everyone *some* characters they wanted.

    The only people who got every character they wanted are the generic Kyo/Iori/Joe team users, god I would have loved this game so much last year...

    Regardless I love this franchise too much to turn away a new KOF.

    XIII won't be a hit. 480p sprites will never be accepted by casuals - even a lot of fighting fans nowadays make fun of them. Even if XIII played exactly like 2002, i bet people won't support it.

    i don't know...the problem of KOF12 was the gameplay not the graphic .. ppl still playing 2k2 (og/um) and 98 (og/um) not because of the graphics but cause of the gameplay (even though i can't see much differences between KOF98 gamesystem and KOF12 gamesystem).. in HK ,ppl are not interested in a new gameplay such as "CC" they want something like the BCmode.. i think that if SNK succeed to put also the BC mode in the new KOF13,a lot of ppl (to casuals it doesnt matter) would buy/play it. If the problem is just because with the new graphic (no casuals inside) seems too new,well the problem is not the SNK but the players,so shame on them, to me the new sprites are excellent (yes i hate the BB graphic/movements) and very smooth..love em.

    KOF12 gameplay wise is perfect to my standards (remember that my favourite KOF is the 94 og/rebout :china: ), if they put the run+grab to Clark, the grab to Ralf, Mary, Chang,Choi,Vice,Jubei (from FF) and keep the same gameplay to me KOF13 will be the best ....

    if yamazaki some how makes the cut ill be very pleased, oswald would be a huge bonus.

    new game modes, NEW game systems (hopefully no cc's, sdms or something, window for cd counter only 1 or 2 frames and then some). i dont know what the big deal about bg;s is, back in the days they made beautiful bg;s and lots of them all looking way differently. and the bgm's in that oldschool jazzy style of 95 was better than most of it afterwards, that is imo ofcourse.

    KOF XIII will have a roster in the high 30s. Storyline. Bosses. It will get 6th or 7th place for a month or two in japanese arcades. Will sell like shit in consoles. In a year, people will be back to playing 2002. We'll discuss "what they should've done" for 80 pages. Then, by the time the $20 port of KOF XIV rolls around, the series will finally be profitable again, despite selling only 100,00 copies worldwide (hey, we've finally recouped the costs from XII and XIII - yay!).

    It'll be 2013, and the sprites will still be 480p.

    All I want out of this is more aggressive gameplay, no retarded parries, or any kind of aping of SF4's Focus system. Give me at least GGPO Netcode, 10-12 more characters, a fucking boss (Boss team being made of Rock, Adelheid, and Son of Goenitz?), survival mode, more than 5 stages, finish the incomplete characters, and we're good. Seems reasonable, but this is SNKP and they don't listen to North America.

    Only his run and grab? He needs ALL his throws back. That made him something to be feared. He had a huge arsenal of throws that he could get enemies with. Just having the Argentina back breaker and an airthrow feels neutered. Though keep Ralf the way he is. The way they're so different now is pretty damn cool.

    well to me clark95 is pretty good if they d choose that version for the new kof.. he has run+grab,qcfK,vulcanpunches,chargeB+Fp... he's complete to me like this :smile: I do like Clark2k2um but i like simple thing so Clark95 would fit me better :smile:

    about Iori..pls SNK dont give him back his fireball and shoryu!

    For the love of god SNK, remove the invincibility frames from Kyo's Douche "Ken" McBaggins Dragon Uppercut like move. Give it no invincibility out of spite. Only Ryo should have invincibility on that move since his doesn't hit as much, do as more damage, and Ryo is a man by definition while Kyo is a man by genitalia "at least I hope"

    hey i'm perfectly fine with XII's new system... i love the CCs and clashes... honestly being able to punch a fireball is like the most awesome way to say "fuck you" to sf4 and its gay fireball wars... i however think they should've added 3 DMs instead of 1 and make u waste a DM if u wanted to 4C+D... and by doing so they could've also limited the use of DMs to 1 DM per CC just so u dont get KOed for eating a CC from certain characters...

    i bought XII knowing that it wasn't a finished game... i honestly don't care about that even though we all know getting extra crap with ur game is like the icing on a cake... u don't need it but it just makes the cake taste that much better...

    what really turned me off of XII was the nerf to the grapplers... i've played KOF since 1996 casually and i've only used grapplers... cause i liked the fact that they were mobile unlike other grapplers in other fighting games... plus a major attractions were how they could do instant grabs and that was a main part of their game... meaning don't get close to my Clark or i'll grab u through w/e u do... this stayed the SAME in EVERY KOF UNTIL ...XII ...where they decided to suddenly change this and make it so that even a "2B" beats out my "DM" which just looks RETARDED after playing the franchise for 14 years... so hopefully they just change this 1 THING and i have NO other complains about XII...

    I don't think I've seen any opportunities to combo back into a DM after a DM (But still unable to because you're out of meter) in CC's anyway...

    Maybe with infinite super meter but in a real match when you land a CC on your enemy, you only have one super bar for your DM and that's it. So I really don't understand your argument here.
    Unfortunately, Street Fighter moves don't work in the Plane of Suck...
