Hey b15sdm, I just wanted to drop in and say your work is superb! I've been utterly impressed with everything you've posted up in the custom stick thread over in Tech Talk and I'm sure your customers are mad hype to be getting these cases.
It's been bugging me for a while, but ever since you've started regularly getting orders with the Paewang PCB, your customers seem to ask for only 3 Console Navigation buttons. If this is the case, how do they access the Paewang's Turbo button to swap console compatibility? Do you have Turbo and another button like Start/Back wired up to the same button or something?
Not to post jack or anything, but yep, that's what gets done. Usually you can wire the turbo to the start or select button and hold that down when plugging it in. Those Paewag PCBs really make doing a dual mod super easy, don't they....
Shipping is only about 45 bucks from the UK and it gets here in like 3 or 4 days. I think that's worth it.
Shipping will be alot cheaper (hopefully) as this is just an empty case and the box I will be packaging it in will be alot smaller than the usual ones I use. I am in the process of finding the best price and will update soon.

Thanks man! With regards to the turbo/console select button I link it to the select button so you dont need a seperate turbo button. I prefer to use the select button as it has very limited functions during game play. I tend to not link it to start as IF (big if) you want to turn on the turbo function the game will keep pausing/unpausing etc.
Here is a photo of how I wire the paewang. You can just about see the grey wire linking the turbo and select signal lines together.

Hey, thanks a lot for answering my question spenzalii and b15sdm! Now it actually makes sense how people can use that without a 4th console navigation button. Hell, that makes me want to use one now!

Those PCBs make it SOOOOOO easy to do a dual mod it's not even funny. I have a Joytron case just sitting at the house now that I gutted the PCB from. The sad thing is I'll probably use a Dual Strike in it to dual mod and sell it! Backwards, I know...
But enough off topic stuff. B15, if you get the rate, let us know. It's a very interesting proposition you have there...
Just (nearly) finished a first set of (Series 1) batch blank cases which I will be selling in the trading outlet shortly.
I have created 5x 6 button layout cases and 5 x 8 button layout cases. I did build one extra one for my own personal use as it will become my main stick now.
The top panel accepts 30mm screw in buttons and the sides can take 24mm snap or screwin, I recommend using the screwin type.
I would have had my one wired up to show you how it looks like inside with a cthulu, imp and 360 board in there so you can get a rough idea of the size but im still waiting on the madcatz pads to turn up.
Hope you like...and if anyone wants to buy one let me know by sending me an email through my website and I will let you know once they are ready to be sold. They just need a little clean up before I send them out. I will most likely put them up on Ebay for an easy transaction.
Thanks guys, I can quite easily send it to the US using standard postal service but I know from previous experience the customer will 99% of the time end up getting a customs charge at their end.
Thats why I send the sticks internationally using FedEx as 99% of the time they dont bother with the customs charge.
There is another way of looking at it...just pretend its £135 free shipping....lol.
To be honest it does hurt me quite alot to hear when people decide not to purchase a stick because of the shipping rates. I have really tried my best to make my sticks alot more affordable for people who cant quite stretch to the full amount for a complete stick. I just cant see myself bending back any further anymore. :(
I'm interested in this since the total price is worth it for what's avaliable. I was just curious as to what exactly the second revision would have in color configurations or body modifications. Also would there be a way to attach a Neutrik port on one of the 24 mm holes since I would want to modify the stick to be compatible with older generation systems, but from research, the only RJ45 ports avaliable require screws to attach to the body of the case, a no no in my instance.
I feel like if I don't buy it right now, I will never get one.
I'm afraid that after these ten of Series 1 are gone, you won't make anymore.
This first series was just to see how well they do. If they sell well I will be doing more series like this but with a totally unique design and again limit it to 5x 6 & 8 button cases.

The holes on the sides are 24mm and im not sure if you can see it clearly enough but I have mounted a neutrik NAUSB jack on the back in the middle to show you how it looks mounted. It will need to be mounted internally and it will drop right in. You will need to secure it in with a simple technique which I will send along with the case. The hole will not support a neutrik RJ45 jack BUT I think if you removed the "push tab" on the jack it will fit. This was it fits the same way as the Neutrik NAUSB jack.
Great Deal Sam! Just to let you guys know (in case you didn't know already), B15's sticks are solid! The quality of his paint and his clear coats are incredible. Pictures really don't do it justice. They actually look and feel better in person! B15 is up there with the big wigs in the world of stick building. I own one of his sticks so I'm speaking about it first hand. Incredible stuff, really! I'm sure Sam can send everyone an email with the template for the top and bottom art so people can replace the art if they want to.
When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
Thanks for the "big-up" Lefty. Incase anyone is wondering the button/stick layout is the exact same as the madcatz TE stick BUT the overall dimension of the plexi is 325mm x 200mm for the top which is the only difference.
If any one buys a blank case I will be sure to include a file of the template for your records so you can switch the artwork.

"we have technology, we can make it better."
Overall I've been looking at your previous work and the paint job you incorporated is beautiful.
I like how the sides of the Bewlix is rounded off on controller. A nice redux on the design. :P

Heres some inside shots I forgot to upload. I have shown it without anything inside and how much space is left after dropping ina cthulu and 360 pcb. Theres still plenty of room left for leds etc.
Just crunched the numbers. It works out pretty close to the same as my VAS-HG I had commissioned, give or take. I'd say it's worth it. Now to see if I can smuggle one in the budget without the misses killing me...

Well if you can swing the same trick I use for power tools you're good!
Get it in the house, throw some clothes or somethin on it and act like it's been there all along.

Genius!
B15, not sure if you still have any of the 6 button Bewlixes left, or if you'd even offer this service, but how much would a wired one dual modded with full Sanwa parts run me?
I don't own a soldering iron and suck too much with electronics to wire it myself :(

If you want me to use the single paewang pcb which will allow it to work on the ps3,360 & pc then please add £100. This will cover the pcb, new stick & buttons and labour to fit it all. Just so you know about £70-80 of that is going on the parts itself which leaves me with a measley £20 for my trouble. :(
Bewlix case get. The thing is entirely as gorgeous, sturdy, and all-around awesome as b15sdm's first photos suggested. It just exudes handcrafted class.
Thanks much mate! I'll post photos of the build when it's finished.
