a lot of people complain about the price, and they are marked up, but if you are in the business of buying arcade boards, monitors, etc. this is one of the less expensive items.

i dont rememberwhat it costed they go for like 350-400 stock but the hss-0130 kills this stick lol and it comes with a arcade panel so you can change it to what ever you want here are so many panels you could buy and its around the same price but anyway i would got this if it was around 250 but i can't justify spending that much on a stick especially since i still have my mint all sanwa ps1 hss-0130 i rather have a cab though:)

Don't think it is an actual vewlix panel because it is a couple inches shorter...I assume (delta 32 cab cp can take either sega or vewlix panels. Seeing the overall length of the stick is about 22 and just the sega panel is about 25 I would assume the panel is exactly what you would find on a vewlix cab).

However, without measurements, it seems to have the exact same layout so you might be able to have different overlays lazer cut to fit (pm'd the guy who makes the TE plexi about this a while back). Also the overlay material seems to be the same as an actual vewlix panel, which is important to me. Looks a lot more authentic than some photoshop printout made at kinkos.

just for the same price i feel the hss-0130 is more worth it you can switch with actual arcade panels and it is a actual mold of what you would play on a astro cab same as this its just a little shorter but if you were using the stick for tourneys then this viewlex one is better the hss-0130 is huge

Yeah, the fact the hss usual actual panels is one of the things I like best. Like how the hori stick opens like an actual vewlix cab though...plus like you said it is a little shorter.

Hopefully there will be some high resolution shots of it soon so we can get a better idea...maybe other stuff changed from when it was first shown.

true dat if you are just gonna use it for house play id say hss-0130 all the way to be honest maybe ill get lucky and find 1 for cheaper down the road or get a harp rap v3 or whatever its called the one they only have for ps3 atm the black 1 to see if i like the feel and wrist room

I'm in the UK too, Play asia delivered my V3 -SA in 2 days. So the shipping cost me 50 and customs and excise was 23, but hey, its all sweet imo.Gonna go the same route with this stick

i'm sorry, i own a TE and an HRAP-EX SE and it looks like this baby puts them BOTH to shame. shame that price is probably what makes the stick "premium."

If only the price was a bit lower. I'm not surprised by it, but I was hoping for under $250. When you boil it down, you're paying an awful lot for that red control panel. It's beautiful though and, although I probably wouldn't use it, I love the idea of storing plugs/buttons inside. Very cool.

I've never heard of any other controller being region locked. I don't even think it would be possible to do so, but I could be wrong. I doubt Hori would bother either way.

seriously, the TE stick is as good as it gets aside from minor pcb problems. its heavy enough not to move around, light enough to carry around and easily moddable.
