@GOGO.Zippy I would use your touchpad but I cannot find a cover for it, on ebay they sell only the board. Suggestions ? Previous post you said it was ok? So not even the ps4 touchpad would work ? I would be ok to give up a couple controllers.

It is too bad, I really like the round touch pad and it has button press as well so kills 2 birds with one stone.

Hello, I have a couple of questions about this board and was wondering if someone could help me with them:

    1) Planning on buying this board, but am not a big fan of the micro USB jack. I was thinking of using the cable that comes with it for the breakout board, but cutting off the end that goes to J1 and covering up the breakout board with some kind of 3d printed cover. Then, I want to solder on some kind of usb plug for use with my Neutrik pass through. Is this possible?

    2) Why does this board say SOCD cleaner support, while the universal fighting board say SOCD cleaner built in? What's the difference?

    3) Why would I buy the universal fighting board over this one?

Ok I have a question again. The audio is just plug and play right? You don't have to go to the ps4's settings or anything do you?

When audio is outputting to Fighting Board, the HDMI won't any sounds.

@GOGO.Zippy Can you tell me what type of Rocker Switch I can use for the LS/DP/RS switch?

    A dpdt? rocker switch round 6pin, 3pin ?

    B1035719581.jpg

Also can I use the switch and the analog thumb sticks together. For example if I set the main controller to LS and can I use the RS thumb stick still or does the jumper have to be on DP ?

    Really appreciate feedback. Thanks.

    A SP3T should do it.

@The_Real_Phoenix thanks for the link. I was really hoping there was a button like switch I could use as I hate the slider switch, it looks terrible. I don't have my boards yet, or the brook touchpads I had to order so can't test anything...

    And is that on-on-on or on-off-on ?

It's an on-on-on. Is used those one to fit into madcatz TE/SE front panel.

IIRC the two pins in the middle of the LS/DP/RS connectors are both ground signal.
So If the PS4+ is working like the UFB, rocket switch on-off-on should work since the board is checking if LS or RS signal is grounded. If not then it's DP.

Not Yet. Analog Stick and Switch can't work together.

When Analog Stick function is enable, the joystick will output in DP mode as a controller .

the PS4+ Audio seems ok after the 4.70 update and testing. I dont think were gonna need a patch this round! (also tested the p3/p4 board and the UFB - all working as well).

    Hello,
i can't use the "PSN/Home" button in Windows 10, it registers as unknown input (Key Code 7) within Windows instead of being registered
as a button press from the gamepad.

Any way to fix that please?

So i just try to plug headset that came with ps4 to this pcb. It only works when I set all audio to the board. Is there any way to have the sound to TV and voice chat only trough headset (just likr DS4 did)?

Is there any information on what hardware I need in order to use the Analog stick features and the Touchpad features of this board? I'm preparing to do a hitbox-style stick and would like to additionally include both analog sticks as well as a full-featured PS4 touchpad. I see very little information online about what hardware I will need for that, though.

Is the cable you are using a known-good data cable? Some USB A to Micro B USB cables are for power/charging only (hence the lit LED). Try a different cable.

Avoid all the el-chepo Smart phone Micro USB charger cables and find your self a actual Micro USB Data cable.

Not Yet. Analog Stick and Switch can't work together.

When Analog Stick function is enable, the joystick will output in DP mode as a controller .

@GOGO.Zippy any luck with implementing this feature?
I have been communicating with Victor in support and he said it worked but I tried it today and your statement above still holds true.

    my suggestions are

    Option #1 - Replace Mode

If JP14 is removed and LS (JP12) is selected then Joystick is LS and LS Thumbstick is disabled.
If JP14 is removed and RS (JP12) is selected then Joystick is RS and RS Thumbstick is disabled.
If JP14 is removed and DP (JP12) is selected then Joystick is DP and LS, RS Thumbsticks are enabled.

    https://1drv.ms/i/s!AmYEnaHDgSLtgZ0ciLtJag3Sy8Y4QQ

    Option #2 - Switch Mode
If JP14 is removed and LS (JP12) is selected then Joystick is LS and LS Thumbstick is DP.
If JP14 is removed and RS (JP12) is selected then Joystick is RS and RS Thumbstick is DP.
If JP14 is removed and DP (JP12) is selected then Joystick is DP and LS, RS Thumbsticks are LS, RS (Default).

    https://1drv.ms/i/s!AmYEnaHDgSLtgZ0bjsalf-c3ruXqDQ

The ability to have the joystick be LS and to have RS enabled allows a user to play every game and would be awesome. Please implement this functionality.

hey guys I need a little help. I have the board wired up to my Killer Instinct TE2 running great. was able to keep the quick disconnect usb and everything. Only trouble I'm having is the touch pad function. I want to use the old lock button as the touchpad. I saw Jony do it but in the video but not entirely sure which wires to solder over. Any help would be great @jonyfraze

Here's the pinout courtesy of gummo:

    1-off/on/haptic
    2-lock/unlock
    3-home/guide
    4-common line for buttons
    5-player led cathode
    6-ir led cathode
    7-clock (HC164:pin8-CLOCK)
    8-data (HC164:pin2-A2)
    9-player led anode
    10-ir led anode
    11-5v
    12-gnd

Make sure you tie in common line to ground.

Ha nice. The USB-B made its come-back. JST-PH are also comming back.

Is the LS/DP/RS connector still a 2.54mm one?
Also, is the pinout of the audio connector still the same?
