  • @wazwuz oh no that it's nothing special but I guess we all want what we cannot have. Do u know if the switch positioning is different on the green arcade lever compared to stock myoungshin?
  • evilj wrote: » I went to TWT Finals, shit was godlike. Best experience I've ever had. Off topic but I played on a hori stick that's in development called the fighting edge for PS4. I can't put my finger on it but it felt like a step up from the…
  • @wazwuz keep up the good work bro
  • Lashford wrote: » @zero_requiem Is there a significant difference between having the microswitches further away with a large actuator vs closer together with a smaller actuator? It changes the feel completely. With smaller actuators you kin…
  • @Marios What I originally came up with is boring out the hole on the stock actuator and using a stock myoungshin bushing with 8mm golden fanta shaft with to replicate green arcades levers. I then asked Wawuz to make a 7mm shaft and 14.75mm derlin ac…
  • @Marios diy it is just an abbreviation of "do it yourself. Wow this Fujin v2 idea is blowing up lol good job to everyone contributing to this!
  • @the Phamtomnaut I messaged him this morning to see if he could make the shaft and actuator in derlin. Worst comes to worst I take the 10mm shaft and throw it on my cnc lathe then turn it down to size.
  • @Rokwho lucky! 14.8mm is so close to green arcades actuators. I believe what they mean by closer switch positioning is that they're closer to the center. Which is why this set up will work better than the myounshins and the fujin will work best. Do…
  • @Rokwho awesome man and glad u like it! I've been thinking about getting that myoungshin for the actuator since Golden fanta actuators would damage the fujin's metal plate but just ended up modding the fujin's actuator because I have an extra fujin.…
  • @blankaex definitely worth getting if you have a golden fanta kit. Ever since the release of tekken 7 I've tried the 309mj, 309 helpme collared version, taeyoung, fujin v2, myoungshin, kaze and if I could choose any one of those I choose the modded …
  • Been testing a modified fujin v2 build the past couple days. I'm using a soft red makestick grommet with myoungshin bushing and a bored the stock actuator to accommodate an 8mm golden fanta shaft. Overall I'm not really getting any missed inputs an…
  • @m_abdalla3 very close to my set up although I bounce between the 9mm and 8mm shaft but prefer the 8mm. As for the collared helpme in my experience I have found the mj easier to use overall and I'm not a fan of the latter.
  • Interesting it looks like a kaze body. I still have no clue what body the kaze lever uses or if it's original.
  • @AlexxTheGreaat it's normal for the tension to get stiffer the further you push on the grommet. It's safe to assume you have A3s which are the stiffest switches compared to a2s and am5s. There really is no other way to go lighter than what is is now…
  • @Marios awesome! Glad you like it
  • Marios wrote: » oh , ill try that since i really loved kaze idea and cant get it off my head . i cant remember what was the microswitches on my fujin v2 , all i remember that they were from Thailand and it had crooked metal connectors. @zero_requi…
  • Marios wrote: » @zero_requiem you have replaced your fujin with am5s ? am5s come stock on the fujin. I was saying that I tried the fujin with a2s and a3s but they were terrible so I put am5s back. I still use A2 for down tho
  • evilj wrote: » Turns out I had the plastic cylinder piece , the piece you have on the bottom of the shaft before the eclip, needed to be flipped. Such a small detail and the moves and feel completely change. Damn ya the actuator on the taey…
  • @Marios the kaze is definitely worth it if you favor short throw. I don't have any issues on both in terms of ewgf, cd, kbd. I never miss diagonals with any of these levers. Only thing I didn't like on the fujin is instant run but I'm used to it me…
  • @LunaPost that also depends on how you play. Like do you play with fightstick on your lap or on a table? Like @abev said it's got going to be comfortable.
  • @LunaPost From what I've read in the past in terms of fitting the sdl-301 into a qanba the dragon is the only one deep enough to fit it. As for drilling a 35mm hole the infiltration has a chopped collar so no you wouldn't need to drill it.
  • @masked rider is it a stock clear white grommet? I have the solid white and clear ones and from what I can tell they are all silicone. The blue ones that focus attack sells are the stock ones found in the sdl-301-dx infiltration lever.
  • Good find and very interesting collar @the Phamtomnaut. Im curious if the performance is hindered at all by how thin the collar is.
  • @The Phamtomnaut good to know. Good find and let me know if you're successful with purchasing the battop and shaft. I wouldn't mind using a smaller actuator on the taeyoung. Yup I learned that the hard way with my fujin a couple months ago when I n…
  • @jopamo thanks for the reply! Unfortunately there are no Fry's in Canadia but I should be able to get all of it at MRO electronics.

  • The only thing I like better about the kaze than fujin is that it's better with A3s lol. Don't need am5s in an optimal set up. Oh and iWR is way easier on it
  • @butteroj looks amazing! Love the color scheme of everything. @butteroj @jopamo just out of curiosity what size techflex are you guys using? 1/8 or 1/4?
  • @marios only way to make golden fanta shafts work on fujin is to use a myoungshin grommet instead of the fujin. Only problem with that is you can't use golden fanta actuators on fujin because it will damage the metal plate since it's metal on metal.…
  • Marios wrote: » @zero_requiem i mailed Airbuguy the creator of Fujin , the actuator v2 has is 14.9mm Sounds right. I guessed it was 15mm so close enough
  • Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find any info on it. Going to buy a bunch of 22 awg wire from amazon and im wondering if I should get copper or aluminum. These will be used on screw terminals on brook ufb. I don't plan on solderi…
  • @Marios it's impossible because the throw on the fujin is only a little shorter than myoungshin. A 16.5mm actuator could possibly come close but then you would have issues using the am5s and would most likely have to use a3s. Using an a2 for down wi…
  • @jopamo awesome man I look forward to seeing the new work. Be sure to post some pics she you're done!
  • @wazwuz sounds bout right since saint does all of jdcr's work on his fightstick lol. No wonder jdcr always wins cuz saint is always slaving on his stick lol. I do the same for my twin brother while he plays tekken the whole time. What project is…
  • @masked rider panthera is definitely a really good choice for mounting a k-stick. If you plan on building a full custom enclosure and don't care about playing on Xbox one you can get an etokki omni brook ps4/pc pcb when you get your taeyoung. Come…

  • @ykd no way I want the am5s...u have more that me! Lol
  • @masked rider definitely get one it's worth the try especially since Golden fanta parts fit perfectly on it. My only gripe with the omni is the 8 screws underneath but I've gotten used to it and there isn't much room to rest your palms in the front…

  • @Marios thai switches are the Panasonic AM5s. If you order the next batch of fujin v2 and they come with A3s I would just throw on the Panasonic switches that you have on it. That way you get to experience the fujin the way it's meant to be. With th…
  • @Rokwho I don't find the throw on the fujin short at all. With the mj you barely push on it and it's already touching the collar lol. The motions on the fujin are very wide and similar to the myoungshin. Take it from me since my battop is so smooth …
  • @kimjongskill the kaze lever is very snappy but with the switches being closer together, 10mm and I forget 16/16.5mm actuator the throw is very short. It's not as short as the 309 so if say it's somewhere between the myoungshin and 309. Overall I th…
  • @Jollyx I hated the collared version lol. Just get the mj and wait to drill the 35mm hole til you decide on a different korean lever. Only reason I dislike the collared version is I find it way easier to kbd on the mj. Seen the tekken world tour tou…
