  • Re: The Street Fighter V General: Orbs, Orbs Everywhere

Jesus Christ the matchmaking and everything online related in SFV is utter trash. I dont even remember the last time I have tilted so badly in any game.

Warping opponents, matching me (A Finnish player) against Japanese players (5 bar connection restriction) and so on.
  • Re: The Ameяican Government Thread

You have to be completely brain dead to support the president's behavior at this point. He is acting like a petulant child and I'd be embarrassed as an american.

"James Comey better hope that there are no "tapes" of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!"

How is this moron supposed to get anything done? He is still engaging in these twitter rants despite being the leader of the free world. The White House itself seems to be in total chaos. You have the press secretary hiding in bushes, aides leaking stories to press how some people are seeking legal counsel already and have no idea what is going on.
  • Re: MVC Infinite Lounge: DLC Characters and Costumes launch Dec 5th

I wouldn't despair after a few forum posts. We need to see this game in proper action and comments from veteran players after public tests.

What I want is options and the possibility to build a synergic team around a specific play style. Just like Chris G said, Marvel should be about variety. This is a bit of a problem in SFV at the moment (especially after they remove jump back os and the game leans even more towards offence).

It doesn't sound good of course but lets just...

    ;_; Please Capcom, my Mahvel.
  • Re: Lightning strikes twice! (and even more in a vortex) - Season 2 matchups thread

Yeah I also made a short video regarding these gimmicks back in s1

The thing is that most decent players are ready with the quick rise by now. You might be able to get away with it once in a longer set, but there is no point trying to go for it often. Even if many people fall for it in online matches, it is not a good habit to learn.

However, I have to say that when I played top Japanese players Paris and the one time I went for an empty ex.clap mixup..my opponent didn't quick rise and I won the game. So just keep it in your pocket and throw it out there once in a while. :D
  • Re: S2 Laura: Now with 50/50 more grappling fun

    Thanks @OceanMachine ! : )

It was my first tournament and I actually was pretty close of reaching top 25. I ate a raw critical art from an Asian Birdie (cafe96) player and lost a close set but that's ok, it happens! Had some nice matches and sets with people like Dogura and Tokido. I definitely recommend going to these events. The tournaments can be be pretty brutal but the casual sets make up for any unpredictable losses.

There were lots of Laura players there for obvious reasons, it was Paris after all. But I just felt like many of them are a bit too vskill happy, take unnecessary risks and refuse to play the neutral game with st.lk buffers etc.
