Those motherfuckers play NRS games for a living...
What's next? You show us a kid with down syndrome smearing his face with poop while laughing, then tell us playing with poop is the shit?
I'm sure many SF elitists would play NRS games for a living if they were good enough.

I mean yes, that's a given. People generally don't have an issue with the NRS characters or anything; if the games were good enough they'd play them. They're not, so they're left to a fairly small portion of the community who enjoy them regardless.

Man, the lack of a standard mexican uppercut or otherwise normal anti-air button on most characters is still driving me batty.

No, I meant if the elitists were good enough to play them for a living, they would. In other words, someone playing NRS games for a living doesn't mean much.
  • Re: MvC:I the 'Sales' topic (financial status of the game)

I'm glad the financial analysts of SRK are on it.
  • Re: Games that haven't aged well.

Castlevania was not even good at the time of its debut. Ghosts n' Goblins could run laps around it despite being released a year earlier...

Are you kidding me? I played through both Castlevania on the NES and Ghouls n' Ghosts on the Genesis for the first time a couple years ago when I was on a retro console kick. Castlevania instantly became one of my favorite 8-bit games, and even motivated me to play through Simon's Quest(bleh) and CV3. Ghouls n Ghosts was fun for sure, but nowhere near as clever with its difficulty or level design.

I'm just gonna downvote anyone who gives mobbdep a serious answer in any of his threads.

Art style would be lead by Bruce Timm. Bruce Timm was the creative mind in 90's animated DC cartoons from Batman, Superman, Titan Titans and Justice League.
I don't like his style very much. Why wouldn't it be based on an actual comic book art style, and not some low budget animated series?
