  • Re: Absolute Question and Answer Thread v.3 (ASK YOUR QUESTIONS HERE!)

So I bought an old used stick for pretty cheap as a 2nd player stick for my PC, and need some help fixing it.

It's a Madcatz SFxT Pro, and the top metal panel is dented where the buttons are. Somebody must have gotten really salty. The dent isn't all that bad, and if I could take the panel off I could easily hammer it out, as the dent is pretty far away from the welded joystick mount so I have plenty of room to work with. The problem is that I can't take the top panel off without taking the artwork off, and once the art work is off it's as good as done. I don't want to pay for new art + plexi for an old stick, any suggestions on how to fix the dent while the panel's still attached to the body?

    Thanks.
