Yeah that's why I kept bugging him to let me post it.
Asked him and he says "It's just lying around inside. Well its kinda a mental prevention of me ragethrowing it across the room.
Theres also not much room to float around because of the stick-mount and the long cables kinda act like springs; they push the pcb back to its original position."

How stable would that kind of mount be though? Would it stand up to a lot of repeated stick abuse?

He wanted that WIN button there pretty badly. Maybe he'll make a "home" map for it later or something. Personally, I would hook some LEDs in there with a battery, then cut "win" into the bottom layer with some colored tissue paper in it. That way, I could hold my stick up and flash a colored "WIN!" at them whenever I do.

Had to fix up my SE after the Madcatz PCB borked (RT + Down weren't working anymore).
Added a metal handle & DB-15 connector.
Seimitsu LS-56 w/Sanwas.

The bottom is fully removable and uses Rockeler screw-in Tee-nuts. I've always had reservations about peg-ins, but I suppose they should be all right. These screw-in tee nuts are for the paranoid builders out there. Will need some large rubber footies to go over the screws. Enough chat: PICS!

That ying yang stick is nice. Very different in concept. I would love to see a top down view of it so I can see how the wht ball top looks like the wht dot and the blk button looks like the blk dot.

This is my first ever box and the first arcade stick I've ever owned period. Just finished wiring it this evening, and my hands are too tired to play with it right now. The paint job is shitty, my wiring looks hideous, but I'm damn proud of it. Worked perfectly when I plugged it into my PS2.
Sanwa JLF, sanwa screw-ins plus one seimitsu button.
Box made by QFCGaming.
MC Cthulhu board with the RJ45 mod, using the Neutrik feedthrough adapter as well as a neutrik USB feedthrough so I have no cables coming out from inside of it.
To anyone else doing their first box:
Use real wood and stain it, painting sucks (unless that's your thing).
