That's later on actually. Close to the cleavage shot they talk about her upper half design, Ono-san throwing in his wanting a bad and erotic outlook, showing her breasts for her bust line, and finally the decision for an eight-strap top to go with the spider theme.

Sure thing.

All I know of at this time are the names given in the game's OST. As far as the dots seen in the latest trailer for SSF4's various modes, 13 counted, 11 are old locations from SF4 (Italy's most likely what the OST labeled as just Europe), two are brand new: Korea and India.

Here's the list that the guide's currently set to have with the next update:

Old Temple -Japan
Crowded Downtown -China
Snowy Rail Yard -Russia
Cruise Ship Stern -Europe
Beautiful Bay -Vietnam
Drive-In at Night -USA
Small Airfield -Africa
Inland Jungle -Brazil
Historic Distillery -Scotland
Overpass -Tokyo
Volcanic Rim -(most likely Kilauea in the Big Island of Hawaii)
Deserted Temple -Japan
Run-Down Back Alley -China
Morning Mist Bay -Vietnam
Pitch-Black Jungle -Brazil
Secret Laboratory -Unknown (though most likely somewhere in Bermuda)

3 in Japan, 2 in China, 2 in Brazil, and 2 in Vietnam.

Neither brings anything truly important to the game and frankly if we're going to rehash the dueling schoolgirls bit, just go ahead and bring back Karin so we can see her and Sakura go at it.

Initial new character announcements just get a 'meh' from me until they announce someone I actually care about.

Juri looks like a demented Tekken character. Not exactly inclined to care but, I think [spoiler]if as previously speculated, someone is to off C.Viper thus inspiring Chunli's path in SF3, Juri would be the leader in the clubhouse[/spoiler].

Unexplained questions...

-Is Vega aware of Juri's existence? (based on his previous answers, likely yes) and what does he have planned for her?
-Does Viper have a connection back to Charlie? This is just a guess on my part but it add another level to her character and be in keeping with Capcom's other overly connected and confusing story continuity.
-El Fuerte vs. T.Hawk, oh yes it will happen.

Unless he knew about her before Seth did, I'd say no.

Doubtful. Unlike with Abel, Guile doesn't even try to establish a link with her and Nash. I doubt Viper knows about Nash any more than Tom does.

Especially since in 3S Chun li is looking to get back one of her kids that she looks after and trains. I don't see how that would have anything to do with Viper. I know quite a few hardcore Elena fans that will be happy if she's in the game. I attended a panel at the NY Anime Festival that compared Japanese video games to American ones. The Anime Festival happened at the same time as TGS where all the SSF4 rumors / some facts were flying around. Even one of the guys who ran the panel said he was an Elena player and was hoping they put her in SSF4. Seriously.

I suppose gameplay variety means nothing to you then?

There's nothing important about half the ST cast, but somehow they managed to get in. Same with Dan and Sakura. Are they all a waste of time and space? Never mind how interesting Rufus or Fuerte plays, they're just a couple of clowns. What about them? And Dudley was searching for a car at first, and now it's a fucking rose. How is he not a waste of time and space?

This is a fighting game full of characters that are meant for people to play against each other, not an anime or a movie where story dictates which ones we get to see. Otherwise the roster would be a LOT smaller and nobody would give a shit.

Throughout the years I've heard enough people ask for Dudley and Mike Bison in the same game for a boxer vs. boxer match.

My guess is Dudley shows up to challenge former heavyweight Mike Bison to prove he's the best. More or less the same plot as the last two Rocky movies.

Bison's gonna kick his ass. Elephant killing punch > fighting like a gentleman.

If Elena does show I hope they elaborate on her going to the same school Sakura did. Or at least give her Sakura's outfit as an alternate costume.

Kat: Nobody is interested in the finer aspects of Ibuki or Elena as it relates to gameplay. The big reason either got played in the begining was because each looked relatively sane compared to the other cast. That you have a Ninja and someone who is constantly in motion like Elena were a bonus.

Kat & Ultima, Nobody truly cares about the fighting schoolgirls outside of Japan and spare me the game-play argument. Alex and Dudley were the only two 3S characters who had both an intriguing character with a interesting story hook. Little can be done with a pair of 14 year olds.

Ultima & Shock: It isn't 'nonsense'. It's pretty obvious if you compare how Chunli is introduced in SF4 vs her appearance in 3S, that something significant happened to her along the way that led to her taking an interest in caring for young children.

Enter Viper who is a dedicated special agent as powerful and skilled as Chun li herself, yet she's also a mother who cares deeply about her young child. Viper is also Chunli's 'rival' in the game.

If that doesn't just scream 'character influence', I don't know what does.
