Depends on the product. Kroger in VA is cheaper than Walmart. And since Best Buy started price matching (at least in my area), I don't have to go there for electronics unless there is something exclusive.
After working there back high school, I can tell you the place is a hell hole. They are currently involved in a class action law suit involving discrimination and unjust break practices. According to the forms that I got, I qualify to receive compensation from this law suit. Its only like 200 bucks though since the settlement is being divided amongst the employees. I hated getting called back from break early. Fucking douches. They were also famous for screwing with your punch in times
I have been screwed over as a shopper as well. I like to drink Bolthouse Farm smoothies. My favorite flavor is the tropical flavor. Now one day I go to buy a bottle. The small bottles are all one price and the big bottles all have the same price. Now I go to pick up a big bottle of tropical flavored. Its the only one in the section that doesn't have a tag on it. BUT its the same damn product so most people would assume its the same price.
I go to the register and she tells me the price. They were ringing it up a whole dollar more than what the other flavors were. Mind you, even the small bottles were all the same price, even the tropical flavored one. So I go to customer service and explain it to them. At first they try to give me the run around. They didnt even want me to show them where I picked it up from. By the time I got a manager to go with me, there is this ass whole up there trying to fill out a posted note with a sharpie with the marked up price on it. What made shit worse was HE TRIED TO PRETEND THAT IT WAS THERE THE ENTIRE TIME.
