Can you tell me more about the construction - what are the sides made from - how is attached to the wooden body?

Thanks! I was actually planning on doing Ravage and Laserbeak so I can swap em out whenever I get bored with the other.

I'm almost done. The silver needs some serious touch up work done. Some clear coat came off while wet sanding. Tip #3 (continued from other tips) always wait for the base coat to dry enough before applying another. Thats why my clear came off of a corner. I might try one of those automotive touch up pens if they're not too expensive.

I'm painting the case to my te to look like a certain 80's cartoon character since they share a relatively similar shape! Gonna be getting a plexi top from Arthong, and I'm waiting on buttons and a bubble top from LL. I can't wait til it's finished.

I may have to redo the silver side bezels cause I fudged up while putting on the clear coat. I'm gonna go ahead and let them dry and do the wet sand and buff to see how they turn out, but it'll prolly still look whack. Here's hoping it doesn't.

Fuck you, dude, I was gonna do that.

Thanks for the comments guys.

The contruction is a wood frame with metal plates drilled, counter sunk and screwed to it. I then used car body filler to cover the screw head and sanded it back flush.

The sheathing I used on the wiring was an idea I picked up from someone on here. Bought some off e-bay for a 80p a metre.
