Looks great Ruged. I love seeing cases we made fully built. I like what you did with it.
Now that you have a 360 stick we can play ninja turtles with the arcade sticks! :P

Carbon and glass fibre custom stick

This week I finally finished my arcade stick. This is the first stick I built but with the help of good friends I managed to finish the project without a major desaster.

The final result has all Seimitsu buttons with quick disconnects, a Seimitsu LS-32-01, dual-PCB with a multi-console Chtulhu and a MadCatz 360 retro arcade PCB, an Imp electronic switch to change between the Cthulhu and 360 PCB and the RJ-45 mod. The 2 PCBs are connected with a SUB-D 25 connector. All electronic components can be removed separately without soldering (except fort the Imp which is ‚married’ to the Chtulhu, but they seem really happy this way).

It has a mounting plate that will also fit a Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT. Sanwa buttons with the larger nut will also fit.

The case is made of carbon and glass fibre. The bottom is made of 6mm acrylic with rubber feet. The whole stick weighs 1.7kg or 3.75 pound.

I hope you like it as it has a different form with the lowered handrest. Big thanks to all of shoryuken, without you I would never have built a stick and thanks for looking!

i would say that it is a nice/unique enough stick to get a thread, as long as it has lots of pictures and designing and not just the same pictures you posted here

dude is that made out of fiberglass, if so really great work, FG is really hard and messy to work with and takes alot of patience to make the desired form

  12. #12862
DUDE, that is TOO good!!! Is it REAL Fiberglass?... must have COST A FORTUNE!!! Or maybe you work at a fabrication place... God the Perks!!!

    Nice shape too!

Makes me want to post more sticks that we've done... infact I'll dig up a few right now ... They'll Pale in comparison, but hey its all good!

Very nice stick. Ive worked with Carbon Fiber so I know the trouble you have gone through. What type of weave did you use? Did you vacuum seal it? Im tempted to build something like this.

The Layout looks okay to me... but you're going to get in trouble when placing your stick and buttons down...

It'll end up looking something like this:

What exactly are you trying to make it look like? Do you want to show your support for those companies. Perhaps laying the logos out on the Top or Bottom will make it stand out more?...

Since you have both Capcom and SNK, perhaps an image of SNK vs. Capcom would be more appropriate (or at least include some images of SNK Characters...)

Send me a link to your PSD file, I'll see what I can come up with...
