Sadly Tales of VS has levelling, although Lloyd, Kratos and Colette were confirmed to be in, since they have skit portraits in the game.

i hope ToV:Reload will come to America. I'll def get it again, but it's missing the all important "can be played over PSN." PLEASE HAVE PSN COMPATIBILITY!!!

Haha, same here! EX dungeon only became a joke as I leveled up like 5-6 times every time i entered it. Cameo was pretty easy although I can only say that the last two were the only ones who put up a challenge.

"Traitor to Heaven" with the combos (demonic circle -> light spear -> super lightning blade -> Shining Bind)
and "Killer of Heroes" with his "counter".

Just wish I could've used Indignation on Dhaos just to see him flip out.

After exams, I'll try a playthrough #3, and i'll make sure to get Dark Avenger this time too...

For the record, should we post spoilers or should we tag them? (I figured Dhaos would be the least possible spoiler in Vesperia)

I recently finished Tales of the Abyss. Pretty good game, though I felt it sort of dragged on a bit in the final few hours. The load times are a pain in the ass.

Now I'm waiting for ToV PS3...I hope it's coming soon!

Oh man Tales of VS has the 2D sprite mode. ToV for PS3 looks great. I hope they dub it quickly. That dual ougi was crazy.

To be honest it doesn't look very impressive at this stage. It looks like they just took the LMBS mechanics from something like Abyss, removed Free Run and tossed it into a fighting game.

Even more clips have been posted on the Tales of Versus site, this time they're longer and show off more of the system mechanics. There's some Tekken/Guilty-Gear style bound shit going on here. It's also got wallbounces, airdashes and it's beginning to look pretty cool. Doesn't look like it'll be a "serious" game but it'll probably be fun to dick around in.

Is there a story mode/arcade mode? or is it straight versus fighting? I guess Judith (if announced) will still keep her air combos now that there's airdashes.

Aside from that, I'm on my third playthrough in Vesperia and just about to fight Gattuso. This is gonna be fun...

Yep, there's a story mode called Yggdrasil Battles. There's RPG elements too, characters can be upgraded with Grade points earned during the game. And yes, Judith is confirmed, along with a bunch of other characters.

The site has been updating with "directors corner" videos where they show some pretty cool combos. The hitstun in the game is pretty crazy.

Is it me or do the hitstun animations look kind of... halfassed? There's only one animation for getting hit in the air, and two at most for getting hit on the ground and even then it doesn't really look like they're getting hit hard. It just looks incomplete to me.

Also, Namco recently registered a trademark for "Tales of LMBS", complete with a logo. Perhaps they're planning on, I dunno, licensing out the LMBS engine? Or perhaps it'll just be an umbrella brand for the games.

Anyone playing ToVS? Its quite fun except the AI keeps running away to get the items. They know where the items are, and you don't.
