Ok, since people are being pussies about posting pictures despite having not signed any NDAs at the Gamestop conference, can anyone who got to see it up close give some more detailed information?
Same parts as the arcade machine....ok, did the stick have a Sanwa JLF-CD Shaft Cover & Disk? I liked the feel of it on the Vewlix cab. Was it just six face buttons, or did they go all out and have the 4th top row "Neo Geo" button with a button plug in it? Were start/select/home on the side or the front? Also, you'd have to be some kind of wizard to know for sure, but did it seem to have the Vewlix button layout ( exact dimensions via Slagcoin)?
How big was the case itself, closer to a HRAP2 or a HFS3? Was there any art on it? Any more specifics about the "character card inserts," which sort of sound like the little inserts on machines that show each character's moves?
This is an exciting product, so any new information would be greatly appreciated.

Enjoy!!

Some features were that they were going to be removable faceplates (they (Capcom) showed us pics of them during our vendor session/training in the presentation)
And as far as the parts, yes the exact same parts used on the viewlix's. Although what was displayed are NOT the final production and just for presentation/testing purposes.
...and you are all welcome!

Looks great.
I'm very impressed...
actually...
this is shockingly good! I can see what the extra surprise is
I really hope this prototype survives the last cut. Worked in the arcade industry for a little while and seen some great stuff get cut

Isn't it even bigger than a HRAP?
Looks good, but too big for my taste.

No not at all actually. And those all look like the so called, Premium Sticks, and they look freaking AWESOME. But are there any shots of the basic versions? Fake Japanese/Hori style parts that are still 30mm? or Happ Like Parts? We wanna know!
Edit: Whats up with the 2 DarkHai buttons on the 6 white button stick?

slimmer than a HRAP. MarkMan, you just may have surpassed the HRAP2 SA. SRK still needs to see the insides and how easy they are to get at in order to pass final judgement though.

Holy crap! Absolutely LOVE the top 2 designs. Finding the black/SF4 case bland. Man those are gorgeous.

Wow, that is incredible. You don't need to do anything else to the stick, just release those.

Will the premium version be available in Europe? If not it's effectively double the price for us

About the controllers, can anyone tell what that d-pad looks like? It kind of looks like an analog. Or is it just a generic place holder for now? If they are wise, they will use a Sega Saturn d-pad.
