They are gonna be playing on consoles in the future if they want to play ssf4, plain and simple.

Yeah see this is the problem. They won't. They'll just play other shit, in the arcades. They will not suddenly develop a thriving console scene in response to this one game that's pretty popular. (not even the most popular game, really.) Thus it instantly strips the game of some legitimacy, along with lowering the level of international play and competition.

- 360 broke 2 days ago brought another one yesterday and works = checked

- can run halo, madden, blazblue and sf4 all at the same exact time = checked

- arcade cabinets all around and plenty of fighting games to choose from = checked

- running tournaments every 2-3 weeks since opening 3 months ago = checked

- if you come and no one is here you can play online while u wait = checked

The thing is, this isn't just small towns that just don't have arcades...this is actual major cities (For one, my city, Cleveland) that lack any arcades with good fighting games.

The arcade scene is nothing like before, regardless of where you go. That's the reality of it in the US.
