If you weren't there in person or in the stream Sunday you missed some insaaaaaane Top 8 action in all games. I'll let other people recount the details, but we're definitely doing an SB Anthology DVD next year. We got all Top 8 footage + more this year, plus the events of Season's Beatings Past, to put together a really impressive set. The main reason we can FOR SURE put together a DVD now is A: Daigo + Justin = hype, B: We have ALL the Top 8 which will anchor the set to have more mainstream appeal (before it was mostly Marvel we captured), so with this as a base we can include all our supplementary stuff as icing

There isn't much 3s or UMK3 recorded -- it was too crazy for me to set them up personally w/ somebody's cams. I got a decent capture of Frodo beating Daigo the 2nd time in 3s, and I got a little of Tim Static's FT10.

Tim Static wanted me and Fugee to do FT10 in UMK3 w/ people backing us $$ wise, with a cut of the prize pool to go towards our SB5 fund, haha. UMK3 is too serious. Having the cab brought its own kind of hype. If you were recording shit at MK POST IT!!!!!

It was because it kept going away and lag was horrible. Also not everyone has money to attend it physically so people like me where hoping to have a decent stream(which it wasn't). Whether it was free or not they should have a better stream and there's no excuse about it.

The event wasnt planned like one week ago. You had plenty of time to save up your lunch money or your allowance. Streams only started to show up this year. Nothing like this even existed last year or before so be thankful you're getting something instead of nothing.

No need to apologize for the stream. A lot of the newer guys need to realize that it's a luxury to have a tournament streamed because not too long ago, streaming didn't happen all that often at tournaments like this. Just people mashing on their F5 keys for results and they were happy to do it.

Justin Wong's team (with LI Joe and a Gief player whose name I don't remember, Noel something?) beat Sanford's team of Vegita X and fLoE in winner's finals. Team Sanford went to loser's finals and beat Daigo and Co., then lost to JWong and Co., in grand finals.

Looking forward to seeing SFIV top 16. Rooting for Lud, make MD/NoVA look good man. I saw MVA and Eric Kim lose on the stream yesterday, it was disappointing

And before loser's finals they asked him what he thought about playing Sanford again and he said he was more than prepared (read that on Eventhubs). I wouldn't say he lost only because of that, he was probably exhausted from playing 4 tournaments at once and extremely jetlagged to boot. And maybe, this might be a surprise to some of the Daigo fanboys, but Sanford and Vegita X are really great players in their own right?

There was nothing that they could do about it. The people who ran the stream are pros with pro equipment. I know because I was there checking out their setup. The bandwidth available to them was just not high enough. An uncontrollable variable. Now stfu.
