Big thanks to KC, OKC, Manhattan, and Nebraska for coming down. You guys made the tourney a blast to have, except for the espresso trolling. I hate you Clint and Le. It was mad impressive to see KC drive down here with three cars and 11 people ready to play. Big props to Tulsa and OKC peeps coming down too; it was good seeing some old faces(Machinez, McMc, and FoxstepCEO) and new faces (The Captain, One Dirty Lei). You guys are welcome back anytime.

Wichita guys, we almost had it! Lots of close matches. I hope KC doesn't think of us as free anymore after all of those intense games. We'll
be ready next time in March!

Good shit Peter. You ran a great event. I know this was Petro's idea, but you did ALL the work, it seemed. Wichita tournies seem to get more and more intense. I couldn't have gotten worked up the way I did, if you guys were free. You came a long way since last time.

A few shout outs:

Darnell - Raven has some tricks. I didn't even know where to begin when you started hazing. I'll be figuring him out before next time. You have a SF identity crisis too. Hope you find your niche.

Foxstep - Great to see you sir! Always a pleasure. No matter what game I'm playing with you, it seems you choose the characters that force you to ice skate uphill. Couple that with your creative gameplay, and you get a scary opponent. I heard that you are waaaay good with Carl, and that you got tourney nerves. We'll have to play again soon.

Machinez - It's been so long since we last played, I wasn't even playing Eddy as my main. I don't remember ever having to turtle so hard. Your use of launchers is second to none, just like I remember. I hope we'll see you back around again.

McMc - I won't lie, I'm salty that I lost. You're a good player, but I feel that today we were all beaten by Lars. Though, It's our own fault, for not studying the character prior to a tournament. I will work hard so that next time, I can't make any more excuses. Good job winning the tournament.

Faust - You won, fair and square. You're the best Hakumen I've played. Very good BB player. Though.. I'm guessing what you said about Gouken was to generate hype, more than toot your horn. You did well with that. Next time, we'll get that MM. I Had to run off and do teams for SFIV and T6, or it would have went down.

To all the KC players who made the trip with me - Wow. We've never gone so strong to a tournament before. That was an incredibly fun day, especially the hangout afterward at the bar. Good job to everyone. See everybody at Maxout on the 5th!

^yea I wasn't very on my game untill late in the Tekken tourney. Still got taken out by you and courtney then. I'm seeing my mistakes though and should be tougher next time. Much Safer play vs you and more mixups vs courtney. By the time Teams came around I was too tired to respond to much since I was operating off 3 hours of sleep. luckily we had a young lars bring it home O_o

SF felt forign to me. I wanted to play with fei but It didn't seem like I was playing him like usual. losing to founder made me shelf him for honda. I want my revenge come he 5th so I'll be down there somehow. Ehonda did go undefeated though! too bad I switched to balrog for some reason >_> ...who am I? I'll figure it out though. Feels good to win with Fei .

founder: you have some very clever setups. I see them and know they're coming but My mind wasn't moving fast enough to stop them at the time! very good games. love your whif kick into piledriver set up.

I Didn't get to play alot of people I wanted to play. mainly Ok people :( woulda been nice to try to take out that lars since I know the characters tricks.

Thinking about bring back the Craig! not the rusty version from the comic book tournament either!

Hey this is DJ (dread boy), just wanted to say that I had fun meeting everyone for the first time. I wish I could have played some casuals in SFIV to fuck around and stuff, but wasn't able to due to time running short.

I'm still waitin for my damn espresso. Good shit at the tournament it was hella fun. Once BB:CS Hakumen is gonna be hella annoying i just hope my anti 4C strats work otherwise its gonna be an uphill fight once again.
