No Sakura?

I can't believe no one's posted snything on sakura!...the best of the "shotokan" warriors. As Evil sakura she's one of the strongest characters on the game people. And in case ya haven't noticed her Evil Sakura super fireball super (d,df,f+pp) comes out EXTREMELY fast..and combos otg on a c.rk. Sumthin to think about...

evil sakura's fireball also goes through a few beam supers..other things will be posted about sakura as time goes on...

Sakura can do some crap but Ken is the best shoto in this game.

Ken does so a pretty good job of "raping" people in this game...but Sakura rapes him and quite a few other characters in the game. For example, ever notice how her dash assist acts as a shield for ur point character? With the correct timing it can absorb all of the rocks in dooms anit-air assist. Nulifies Sent's ground assist as well. Strider Doom trap and almost any Sentinel assist trap now becomes, if not obsolete, much harder to execute properly and consistantly. Look! she's not even on point and she's raping people!:eek: Though Ken's anti-air assist is obviously nuthin to be taken lightly...

ok...Sakura sucks... Ken IS the best shoto in the game. Hes super fast,can link supers like crazy,and his air hurrucane kick does an extreme amount of damage..

i have sumthing to say about sakura..well evil sakura at least..her true power lies in the fact that her shinkuu hadouken is crazy strong and it comes out crazy fast..but if you can manage to keep her on the defensive with one super meter..the fight is yours...but i still like sakura nonetheless..i just would like to point out her weeknesses just in case people were thinkin of usin her..you should know both sides if you can truly use her..

3 meters is still not worth it IMH:o.

d.sakuras teleport is the best teleport in the game.

teleport x N, it also sets up some nice assist crossups...

Yes, yes it does :evil: . and one of the reasons for that is the lil shimmy she does at the beginnin and end of it. Really take a good look at it...those extra couple frames of invincibility do wonders...

Ok.. Before you can even get 3 levels ill cross you up with Mags,you will get nervous and use specials out of no where,and die.. Because regular Sakura sux. Ill admit E.Sakura is OK. But going threw 3 levels for her form? Thats just stupid..

why not use someone else as a battery to get up that 3 levels quick(cyclops.cammy.blackheart)..sakura herself has her jumping hk which works as a somewhat descent battery..magz is good but he is easily slowed down with the right assist..

You can't just assume that a person who uses Sakura is going to play like a retard. You should actually take time in understanding a character before bashing them. :) Sakura's 1 frame startup Shinku Hadouken destroys jumpins and Tri-jumps. :evil:

Yeah but people Rushdown so fast that you cant really react that fast. But I usually rushdown after a block stun. I see where your coming from though:p

Psh, combine regular Sakura with Capcom assist and you can turtle and hurricane kick backwards to gain meter really well, then rush in and do either a j.HK into a hurricane kick before you land into c.LK c.LK qcfLP XX QCBKK, or you can just do a j.HK into a c.LK c.LK qcfLP XX QCBKK or something like that, you get the idea. Capcom keeps them at bay, Sakura rushes in when needed.

Actually yes you can, Magneto's entire gameplan is rushdown so he's just going be predictable and Sakura can SHDK him.:p

Sakura is really the best against Sent than against any other character. :o Read my thread to find out how.

I agree with White Shadow. Its not impossible for Sakura to dish out some serious damage in this fight. Granted, it will be harder for her, but its not impossible for her like it is for some other characters...

And what about Strider/Doom/Cable team. One wrong shoryuken when I teleport and its over.. Sakura is

ok those are all good points and things that could happen to someone who is just learning Evil Sakura. They just found out she had a teleport and an AHVB rival the shinku hadoken

, and they're going crazy with them. In my opinion those people deserve to be punished. It'll teach them a lesson about randomly throwing her moves out. But to the rest of us like reactor, white shadow and myself....we know better. So Cables on the team and theres an AC into AHVB possibility. The smart Evil Sakura player slows down...poke here and there with attacks but keep from leaving urself open. keep your supers and bide ur time. just attack when theres an opening...and an evil sakura player can wait forever becuz the more super she has the more she makes you pay for your mistake.

The main thing to remember is not everyone who uses EvilSakura is doing it for show. for some of us she's a main weapon and a serious threat. so her shinku hadoken has weaknesses? stay away from em! magnetos magnetic tempest has weaknesses so ya never use it without hyper grav. cables HVB has weaknesses so you only use AHVB. Sakura is semi-top tier in my book....

p.s.:regular sakura owns the team neway

maybe she deserves to be in top tier :)

Many good points. Just one thing. As soon as Strider teleports he can automadicly block. Im talken about the teleport in the air. And I dont think the shoryuken will go through Doom's rocks. But I think shes decent at best. 2nd tier in my book.

Yes her Shouoken will go through Doom's rocks. A smart Sakura player wouldn't do Shouoken out of a combo into a super.:o
