maybe ill be able to make it during spring break, isn’t 10$ entry a little steep?

#3

Steep for what, there’s no other fee?
Nothing for casuals, nothing for games, just $10 and you’re done.

Asking for a $5 weekly is stupidly low, half the people who come would pay more to get there than what they get for winning.

#4

Yo phil! It’s Chris. Boxer/Dhalsim player. Still need me to bring my stick?

#5

I think we should set up one station for xbox 360 and do a duo ps 3 and xbox 360 tourney (to make the tourney run faster and solve the controller issue)… But thats just my two cent… And yeah $10 isnt steep… phils right some of us travel and spend more than 5 to get there…

#6

If I make this a Duo tournament, then the default is PS3.
If both players AGREE to play on the Xbox, then you can.

I do not own, nor have access to, XBoX 360’s.
If you want to bring them or arcade sticks, you’re more than welcome to.

Otherwise this tournament will be PS3 as advertised, and you’ll have to use whatever sticks are available.
As stated, **this is a BYOController tournament. **

I will have more sticks on hand this time, but it’s not up to me to have controllers for you to use.
If you can’t find someone who’ll let you borrow one and my sticks are in use, then you’ll have to play on the PS3 Controller.

I can’t hold up every match because no one else wants to give you their stick.
Anyone who wants to bring an XboX 360 can, and we will set it up on the multitude of TVs available.

#7

I will be bringing my xbox 360 in the tournament. Anyone else who wants to can bring their 360 controllers please do… Do we have access to extra tvs?
I agree that this is a BYOC event and if no one wants to lend you a stick we shouldn’t have to hold up matches like last time…

#8

Right now I definitely have 2 TVs and 2 Systems, with two arcade sticks of my own.
These are the ONLY amenities that will definitely be there, but they are in no way, shape, or form a RIGHT that players are entitled to.

If you can’t get someone to give you an arcade stick, such as if two other people are using the arcade sticks I bring, you will be playing with a pad or taking a loss. Hopefully some of you guys scrounged up something you can use, just in case.

I also need a THIRD TV, since someone will be kind enough to bring their XBoX 360 to the tournament this time.

–If we do NOT get a 3rd TV, this will be a straight-up PS3 tournament.–

There are more than a few kind souls at these events, so none of this should be an issue.

This should be a fun event.

My friend Emblem Lord went last night and I was wondering how he did.
