6-button layout pad that isn't madcatz - here. Have you ever tried it?

I’ve been looking for a while for a 6-button layout pad with a 4-way directional or in other words, a ps3 controller(or similar) with a 6-button layout. I know the madcatz one but it quite doesn’t cut it because of the directional layout.

I’ve found this controller here:

Has anyone ever tried those? Or does anyone have another controller to suggest?

Thanks in advance!

inb4 learn to use a stick.

Tech Talk may be the better spot for this. Those guys know their stuff. Moving it over for yah. :stuck_out_tongue:

the only thing i’d use the dreamgear for is to break it open and make a stick out of it. my suggestion is to use a sega saturn usb pad. tons on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Genuine-SEGA-Saturn-SS-USB-Controller-Pad-Game-white_W0QQitemZ370327350667QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPCA_Joysticks_Game_Controllers?hash=item56393aed8b#ht_2183wt_787

That pad does not work on the PS3 Slim.

wot doesnt work? the dreamgear or the sega? if the sega doesnt work is it because its locked out or because it needs more power? if it needs more power use powered usb hub

Directional’s on the pad are fucking horrible any decent pads directional’s should be this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/11hEpfW-gZL.SL500_AA150.jpg

It would be to hard on any pad with this SHAPE to do 360’s, 720, ChickenWings, QuaterCircle

This is what that d-pads like

Here’s how it should be

The only thing on the pad with the square shape would do for any player is accurate hadoukens but you can do that on the multi-directional pad, Also the pad you posted would be way to much like a PS2 pad shitty unless you make a stick out of it.

Being someone who’s played on KB and PAD for years, I think my judgment is pretty fair.

It works on new firmware PS3’s with a USB hub.

I’m looking forward to this:

Comes out March 18th

Dreamgear, unless you use a USB hub with and newer firmware as mentioned by The_Third.
