What up guys.

Two tourneys in July. 7/7/7 and 7/28/07. Are you ready?

Games:
SSBM (singles/doubles) Start time: 12pm

3S (5$): Start time 4pm
GGXXAC(5$) Start time: 4pm
T5 DR (10$): Start time: 4pm

CvS2 (5$ ) Start time: 5pm
ST (5$) Start time: 6pm

Venue Fee: 8$ (one can of soda and chips/candy included)

PS3 2/ T5DR download is needed. First two guys per 10 people that show up w/ them will get free entry into the T5 tourney and will not have to pay venue fee (18$ value).

Format:
Most games: Double Elim

Standard Rules for all games.

Payout per tourney:

<10 entrants 66/33
10-20 entrants: 58/28/14
over 20 entrants 53/26/14/7
over 50 entrants 50/25/12.5/6.25/3.125/3.125C

  1. Poker will be had in some way or another.

  2. Try to get there on time somehow.

  3. I want to make 7/28 big. Evo West is going on that day, I want to have something for east coasters. Couple of ways I can do that. Need inputs.

a. all tourneys 10$ for that date?
b. have 5$ tourneys still, but have 2nd tourneys that are 20$ for “masters”?
c. offer free porn and booze?

What you need to do is bring dudes out from NY and NC to compete and have a big blow out tourney like last year. Fucking 10 teams of 3 for 3S was gdlk. 3S teams rocked the house. Let’s get that shit going again. Yeah…I like the 10 dollar idea too. Ultra Dave is not here to keep us thrifty so we can spend our money unnecessarily now. Bank account matches and everything.

So…A sounds good…that’s what you gotta pay to play a tourney at Evo any ways. B…dunno bout all of that. Sounds too complicated. C. That’ll work. To make this shit hype we’re gonna need heads from other areas than MD/VA. Not to say that we cant get hype by ourselves but last year people came out of the woodwork in July to play and we need to do that again this year. That July was definitely one of if not the best C3 we’ve ever had. If we can do the same shit at the new venue…gdlk.

i agree with this, also since evo worlds will be slash we should keep ac singles but also have slash teams. I’ll try and get who i can to come.
I have been practicing some 3s and cvs too :open_mouth:

I might be able to come to this. If I can I wanna do a KOF/NGBC tourney. I’ll put up extra cash for 1st place winner. Robin I’ll be in touch with ya about this to see if you wanna do it or if it can be a side tourney if I can come.

I agree with Option A Robin, for the 28th tourney.

If we can pull in over 30 players/12 teams of 3 players for GGAC, i’ll personally add in a $100 pot bonus

Yeah, invite from TGA to NC. Make tournaments $10-20.

And we should have a Alpha 2 tournament also, since that’s the hot shit right now.

7/7 is standard singles for GGAC.

7/28 is supposed to be big for GGAC and we will be running 3v3 teams~

If you can only make one July C3 for GG try to make it to the second one.
