wow. i remember him. damn that’s sad news

R.I.P

#3

He’s one of those “That Guy” actors I think. Shit I never knew his name but saw him everywhere. Him being Kobayashi in Usual Suspects was just awesome. RIP.

#4

The Last of the Mohicans & In the Name of the Father are god tier movies, imo.

sad news. ugh.

#5

EXACTLY! you never knew his name, but you’d see dude EVERYWHERE! he always gave solid performances too, no matter what movie (maybe with Dragonheart being an exception, lol) RIP tho…a toast to Pete!

#6

Never knew his name until now, but he was certainly a good actor. R.I.P.

#7

I remember him most from Romeo + Juliet…but yeah, he’s one of those "Oh shit, he’s THAT actor!"
RIP.

#8

That man had one of those unique faces that you could never forget. Not sure if he was handsome or hideous, but he was memorable.

#9

Who was he in inception?

#10

…dis… appointed…

RIP Scarecrow’s dad from Inception.

#11

That guy with that face.

#12

Cillian Murphy’s dying father.

#13

Also just saw him in “The Town”, what a shame. RIP

I can only hope his death in real life was better than the death his character suffered in “The Town”.

#14

His character in “The Town” died quickly and went out by having an intense shoot-out with Ben (even hitting him in the chest but was saved by a bullet-proof vest), unlike his partner LOL. Who knows how long this great actor suffered from cancer?

RIP He was one of my favorites in Jurassic Park II, and out of the shitloads of cast members running around in the that movie, it was still nearly impossible to forget his character. He played a smart, cold and bitter character in Jurassic Park II, more bitter after his partner died, and he played it so well.

Now I have to see “In the Name of the Father”.

#15

yesssssssssssss

#16

I need to watch more of his movies, but I stay amazed at how he can go from deranged murderer looking mofo to cuddly fatherly figure seamlessly. Will be missed. Was kinda wanting a sequel to The Usual Suspects*.

*I kid, I kid…

#17

Again, I recognize him from Romeo+Juliet. He was an awesome Father Laurence. Requiescat in pace, man.

#18

The whole gear of that movie shifted the moment he showed up. It was superb.

I too would see him from time-to-time during the mid-to-late 90s like in Romeo + Juliet. Earliest movie I ever saw him in was Alien 3. So I wasn’t too fond of his filmography but I liked him in everything I saw him in.

guess there will be no usual suspects 2 now???
