I like the afro-dojo mojo put on this event. Hopefully 5v5 can start happening here, those are gonna be dope.

edit: And no venue fee w/ a $10 entry fee? How wonderful, now I can spend my entry fee on beer :woot:

Spent some time playing tekken on the 360s with the asus displays, seems like little to no lag.
My stick also has a short cord on it from the panwae board when mkp dual modded it, it had no problems reaching any of the units.
So hardware wise we are looking pretty good.

#4

I will be at this.

#5

I will be there too

#6

Finally, missed you man. You were being such a buster =)

#7

I’ll show up, very late. I get off work at 7, so I won’t be able to play, but I’ll come and check out the new place.

#8

Bump. I won’t be there till a least after finals around 6pm for a few games then off to zachs.

Kumite…Kumite…Kumite

#10

I’ll be here. Drinks at 4pm? …Yeah :coffee:

#11

I’ll definitely be there

Guess after the tourney we’re looking at Greg’s again?

#12

Greg’s for more street and Zach’s for less street. Depends how hungry the individual is after the tournament. I’m undecided, but leaning towards Zach’s since it’s been a while.

#13

im staying a while and drinking.

i hope this venue works out good. finally get back on track with a good venue and get the fuck out of houses.

#14

Dont forget to bring your stick and a copy of ssf4 if you can. I will be keeping track of copies and the machines are in a secure location so we dont have to worry about any copies walking off.

#15

ill bring my copys

#16

I should start the day soon if I want to make it.

#17

Curse broken, or not because I entered as Snake’s On a Plane. Great venue, will return :coffee:

#18

curse isn’t broken if the usual people that beat you don’t show up. Winning at a free tournament is like winning the special olympics.

Edit: COngrats on a 13 man bracket. Who got the 3 byes? LOL…GROSS

Edit #2: Keshtath good shit running this BTW I wanted to make it up but was busy. Please do not let my reminding Riki Oh that his acomplishment is not something to write grandma about and to tell his future generations. I hope to attend these events considering their proximity.

Got some great feedback from people and I’m working on smoothing things out more for the next event.
Tournament went well, had 13 people sign up and we finished in good time.
Here’s the results:
1: Riki-oh
2: Tanaka
3: Ceramic Sugar

I’m looking at doing this again January 8th, same time, same place.

This was pretty fun, I hope to see more events take place here even though it is a bit of a drive for some. If the main issue of swapping out sticks is taken care of, we should be good to go.
