Anyone Know Anything About This Stick?

#1

I found this on Ebay, I’ve never used a stick so I’m tentative about buying a TE with how expensive they are and such so I thought I’d try a cheaper one first

Also, anyone know if an old school PS1 stick would work, with a converter, on a PS3?

Looks like someone took a hori case and added their own electronics.

Looks like a Hori FS for PS1 knock off with PS2->PS3 adapter built-in. So even the USB connection, I bet, still go thru the PS2 circuitry first. I wonder if it lags or drops inputs like many cheap PS2 to PS3 adapters. It looks risky, I would prefer straight up PS2 controller and and get an adapter that I know does not lag or drop inputs.

PS. I wonder how many of these Hori PS1 FS clones are out there? Did Hori sell the rights to others to clone their old design or has the patent for the old Hori FS1 expired? There seems to be an influx of these clones lately…

Yeah I found an old PS1 fightstick for $10 I am gunna pick up tonight, even if I cant use a converter to make it work on my PS3 I can use it for SF:Alpha on my PS1 hahaha

Just a warning. Certain converters are causing the PS3 to crash due to the latest update.
