[April 26-28, 2013] NorCal Regionals 2013 (Road to Evo Qualifer)
#2

is there any chance of there being a Skullgirls side tournament?

#3

Will there be stick modders setting up shops at the event?

I have a few xbox TE sticks dual modded with RJ-45 Multi Console Cthulhu but they don’t work anymore.
I need someone to help rewiring the stick assuming the pcb’s are still working fine. Or replace the pcb otherwise.

Thanks.

#4

Unfortunately the venue is at capacity with all the events so no more side tournaments can be held.

There will be a stick modder at a booth at NCR.

#5

Thanks Choi.

We really appreciated your support (for side tourneys) from the previous NCR’s.

Best of luck for the event.

Domain hotel grand finals are the best.

I will show up to spectate and also try to get my sticks fixed!

Ok meng whats the schedule? I’m only playing sf4 should I be there on Thurs or Friday?

#7

What airports should I fly to as well? Thanks guys!

#8

Everyone needs to be present by Friday as pools for all games will begin Friday. The smaller events will have finals on Saturday. The bigger events (SF4, MvC3, SFxT) will have semis on Sat and finals on Sunday.

San Jose is the closest airport. It is about 15 minutes away. Airport code: SJC
San Francisco and Oakland are alternatives. Both are about 45 minutes away. Codes: SFO and OAK respectively.

Hey everyone. Sorry if I should post this elsewhere but somebody who works for the tournament told me I should post here so here it goes.

My name is Jory. I’m a Marine who has just been recently been getting into the FGC and has already went to SCR this year. I’m just looking for some way to get to NCR since I can’t drive because I have no car and it would take me hours to get to NCR off of a train (14 hours actually) which conflicts with my military schedule. Ever since SCR i’ve been getting a little closer to getting some recognition. The closest thing being, I’m actually one of the mods for Filipino Champ’s stream on FGTVLIVE now. I want to just experience the atmosphere again and possibly get some connections on tips for getting better at these games. Ive been playing fighters since I was around five, but never knew there was such a competitive crowd for it until i went SCR.

I live on the base (Camp Pendleton) & I’m looking for anybody who would be willing to give me a ride up to the tournament on the 26th-28th. To anybody going to NCR who could help me, I can pay for gas, my room and any other necessary expenses that may be needed (food, merchandise, etc). If anyone can help message me. Thanks.

#19

I registered a while back but just had the craving to enter a few more games. Is it too late for me to add those games?

Daigo will NOT attend NCR!
He choose Nicovideo’s event in Japan.

I’m very dissapointed at him…
