Assistance Request - MadCatz 4716 Trigger Issue

I’m using a MadCatz 4716 PCB for this eight button arcade stick and while I have both LT and RT working, using the resistor method, both buttons do not immediately return to neutral on release. They instead return slowly to neutral thus giving the unwanted effect of the buttons “sticking.”

Any ideas on how I would correct this?

Apologies if this has been answered before, I was unable to find anything relating to this specific issue via search.

scroll down a bit until you get to step 5a.

Nice tip, I like to add that Toodles does sell a small board, The 360^2 Helper that does the same Inverter trick with out finding all the parts your self.
It also works for neutralizing Analog pads to work with digital joysticks. The official Cthulhu and ChImp thread - Try our new Dreamcast flavor! And Scroll down to The 360^2 Helper. Also the ChImp SMD also has built in support for trigger inversion.

Thanks for the assistance. Looks like I’ll be forced to order the inverter chip as there are no stores anywhere near where I live that carry them.
