The first MichiganPower Glove Tournament brought to us by the gentlemen at Grand Rapids Street Fighter and Gamerati.com. All games will be held on xbox 360.

You guys asked for a later start to the tournament and we have done just that, so we better see some more bodies at the first Michigan Power Glove tournament.

This event will take place on Friday, August 26th at GrandLAN Gaming Center located in Grand Rapids, MI. Directions and info about GrandLAN can be found in link below:

-Fees
*$5 for the venue
*$5 per game

-Games being played as follows:
*Mortal Kombat 9:(Registration is 4 to 5:30PM) Play 5:30-7:30PM
*Blazblue Continuum Shift 2 and Street Fighter 3rd Strike: (Registration 7:30-8PM) 8-9:30PM
*Marvel vs. Capcom 3: (Registration 9:30-10PM) 10-12AM
*Super Street Fighter 4 AE: (Registration 12:30-1AM) 1Am-?

-Rules
*Double Elimination
*Winners must keep character, losers can switch
*May counter pick ultras between matches
*Winners keep same team in Marvel, losers may switch

I can arrange for some rides for people around detroit thus far, looking to get out and support the michigan scene and help bring some of us together in one area.

Making it late night was the best we could do accommodate everyone’s schedule on such a short notice as well on a friday. Should try to make it out regardless bud there will be plenty of casuals and more than likely a few side tournies.
