This is Cybertron’s second tourney, following our Capcom vs SNK 2 Intergalactic Battle in 2003 & recently our Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament Both tournaments had great turnouts and we want this one to be as hype as those throwdowns were! Central Florida has a strong fighting game community, as evidenced by the recent CEO 2011 competition in June. Spread the word, assemble your crew for a good time, help to make tournaments a regular occurrence again at the new Cybertron Video Games!

We’ll see you there!

Nice… I don’t play either of these games but I may enter for fun.

See you there! this time we play a game im good at

Not to be trolling but what happened to the other 30%?

Lol! Really though, if they aren’t charging a cover fee ($5 to attend, $5 to enter tourny for example) this seems reasonable.

it’s 5 dollars to enter AE but free to enter MK. It didn’t say anything about a venue/door fee (venues usually charge for these types of things) so I’m not sure where the AE money is going to. I’m not attending but if things get straightened out, I’d like to tell some Tampa heads who maybe interested in going.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I’ve been on vacation and just got back this week.

Just to reassure everyone, there isn’t a door charge, anyone is welcome to come whether they are participating or not. The remaining 30% are to the cost of the venue. If I was throwing this at my house, all of registration fee would go to the pot, but since it is a public space and I’m helping the owner cover some of the costs of running the tourney.

I’m not old hat at this yet, but I do know one thing; I want to be as straight forward about these events as I can. I should have relayed this info earlier in the initial post.

Tourney is going down tomorrow!

If anyone has the PS3 data for all characters unlocked for Mortal Kombat and has Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition on XBox 360, could you bring it along just in case? We may need it for the tourney, since the person I relied on to bring those items had a family emergency befall them yesterday. Due to it, he won’t be in attendance for the tournament.

Thanks for any help you can provide and we’ll see you there!
