Best Monitor around $300 for PC/360?

#1

I’m buying a new monitor this weekend but I’m really behind the times with the technology lingo. Can anyone recommend a good monitor? I definitely want wide screen. Should I just go with the most expensive Samsung under $300?

Samsung monitors are bad for consoles, no 1:1 pixel mapping

By far the best. But you’ll have to search around for it I guess.

BenQ G2400W I own one and will swear by it plus it’s pretty cheap nowadays
Has 0 lag and honestly the best picture of any screen i’ve ever seen. 1080p resolution on such a small screen results in very crisp clear images.(24" monitor)
Also you get to save some doe.
Here’s a review

It’s valued normally brand new at about $400+ as it really is an amazing monitor, mines refurbished and got it for $200 but a private dealer is selling it on amazong for $168 and has 100% rating it’s is worth the money saved and for a product that is superior to what you find in the $300 range.

Edit: Warning, since it is cheap and your looking to spend more you probably won’t mind, but it doesn’t have built-in speakers. I planned on using external speakers anyways, so this wasn’t an issue for me but just figured you should know since it took me by surprise.

From the monitors I have tested I love my Viewsonic VX2260WM but the Asus link above looks like a great monitor too. In a monitor 2ms response time is really important but I only paid like $200 for my Viewsonic.
