We’re the self titled #1 most active community in fighting games. On another note, you’ve got a slick Honda. I always enjoy it when you come up on the FADC streams. Way to represent the army.
Back to Buffalo, good shit as usual at the Barcade. ggs to everyone I played, though I somehow never got back around to playing kyle, sorry about that. We’ll play first thing next time.
Food for thought -
Something Cha, Celes and I were talking about was recruiting, specifically at UB. A couple of things we talked about were throwing up fliers at UB, or having a monthy fight night at the open gaming club on campus. We might even hold a well advertised tourny there where maybe a couple of our top players don’t enter, so we aren’t overly discouraging to low and mid level players.
Our thoughts are there must be people at UB that can play sf at some kind of decent level that have no idea about us. Maybe we can find them and show them the light.
Now, I’m all for this, as long as our crowd doesn’t get too shady. But I thought maybe other people had different opinions? This isn’t a pressing matter, but maybe we should think and talk together about how/when you want this scene to grow and what it should turn into. We have a really good core player base right now, and once we have the barcade fully open there will be a professional establishment for us to meet at (less personal than someones house). There’s a chance for this to grow into something, who knows. Think about it.
